So I guess it's the ten year anniversary of Parachutes (which I'm sure is already known to anyone who has been on this website today). Almost missed it. Hmm, it's been a long time since I've listened to the album. Are we still, like, Parachutes "fans"? Or whatever you want to call it.

Well yeah, I can see why Damon would want this to be the last album... I mean stuff like Gorillaz albums are pretty creatively draining and I'm amazed he managed to make Plastic Beach so good (it's as good as Demon Days imo) -- I'm not surprised if he wants to quit while he's ahead, so to speak. I'd hate to see Gorillaz get overdone.

Well, I actually haven't been keeping up with the news, either (I had heard about how Gorillaz was going to be at Glastonbury, but just today found out that the performance had happened). I was, however, keeping up with news during the time leading up to the release of Plastic Beach. Apparently Damon Albarn also had said Demon Days would be the last one, which of course wasn't true.. Though I don't think he was really planning on making another one until a long time later. It kind of seems like Plastic Beach might really be the last, though. And I'm not really sure of what's going on with all the touring stuff, actually. I think I recall seeing something about US dates, though.

I know what you mean about their live performances. I was thinking the same thing about how it changes with so many people onstage. It's interesting to see how the music is recreated onstage. The Glastonbury show is especially awesome.

It is?? POOP. Haha, haven't really been keeping up with the news on it. But they're coming to the US to tour, right? :/

I love their live performances cuz they always seem to change a couple subtle things with bass riffs or orchestration, stuff like that... it always sounds a little different from the album and really rich too because there are like 50 people onstage, generally. It would be so amazing to see them live...

Yeah, it's quite an awesome performance. I was just watching the video of Broken and it's really cool how Damon added the brass instruments in.

It would be really cool to see them live.. I was thinking about that. But would there be chances in the future? I mean, Plastic Beach is supposed to be the last Gorillaz album.

I think it's in the right order, yes.

...I love Gorillaz live SO MUCH. I WANT TO SEE THEM SO BAD. They're SO AWESOME live. Nomnomnom.

Yeah, I saw that! I don't think that I planning on watching it all through, but I dunno. You made me want to watch more of it, so I will now. I figured the same thing about that being the reason for the odd titling. It's in the right order, yes? Probably.

I was just watching some videos and looking up what happened with Gorillaz at Glastonbury, actually! It does seem pretty awesome from what I've seen so far. I was watching the performance of Clint Eastwood again a few minutes ago. So cool. I like the strings in it.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean (about the homework thing). And yeah (again), it definitely can be nice to have solitude. Especially if you haven't gotten to have much in a while.
