My parents are both from West-Germany (but not from my hometown though, they met there), although the parents of my mother are from Danzig (which is Polish nowerdays).

Yes, Alicia Keys is from New York, she also did a song about New York long time ago (but I don't know the name at the moment, I'll look it up for you).
I really enjoy her music, her appearance and her muscial talent is mind-blowing.

Rihanna is actual pop-music for teens, if you ask me, what doesn't make her music bad, but I'm not into that.
Although some of her lyrics are good though (which could be, as Jay-Z writes some for her).

I think it's good that Lady Gaga collaborates with other genres, as she really can sing though.
She's not my type of music, but a party without Lady Gaga's hits (at the moment) isn't a real party, as crowds get hyped whenever her songs come through speakers.
