What Andy did was shameful but at least it was in the spur of the moment, Kenny has taken defending your player way too far, there's just no fucking way he could actually believe Andy lost his balance. Unbelievable.

Man United actually played well tonight, 2-0, De Gea had to pull out a few saves, Valencia was great and scored from a very tight angle, Ashley Young also scored a great goal.

They left it late though.

I'm not looking for excuses but it just seems weird. He's desperate for a goal and if he could have got past Krul he would have scored. It looked so obvious. He didn't turn round to the referee and ask for a penalty either. He definitely didnt trip so I can only think he lost his balance. He said to Alan Pardew that it wasnt a dive. If it was, then there is no excuse for it but it didn't seem right.

It was a split second of madness/stupidity, he clearly thought the way Krul was rushing out that he was going to make some form of contact or at least get close but he slid away from him and curled his body up. Andy didn't get the contact, already decided he was going down, and he looks over at the assistant when he's sliding, he knows he has totally fucked it up and makes sure not to appeal. If you watch one of the slow motion replays you can see him pull his left leg up, throws his arms up and decides to collapse, its really un-natural looking, it's not what someone does if they're trying to keep their feet on the ground. Sorry but there's no doubt in my mind.

Arguably more disgraceful was how he left the field, he doesn't have any right to speak like that to manager/staff if he played brilliantly, but to infamously fuck up that chance/dive and then react like that, what a total douchebag.

Yeah, i'm thinking we should maybe just cut our losses now and sell him. I feel for him because we've made no attempt to play the way his style requires. He seems to be getting increasingly frustrated. Maybe sell him and Adam and some of the bit part players and start again. Bring back Aquilani and Cole and sign Marin and Rossi. I know that wont happen but I can dream.

Aquilani won't come back and I doubt Cole will but I agree Samuel. You would draft those players right back into the side at an instant right now if they were available. Try Aurelio again at left back and give Enrique time on the bench to assess his form.

And I too was disappointed with Carroll on Sunday. His reaction to Kenny was out of order and the fact he was nearly close to tears shows he's finding life really hard at the moment. I feep sorry for him.

I think I've said this before but the problem with selling Carroll is that there's going to be a huge dip from what you've paid for him, and the owners aren't going to accept that, so unless you get lucky and a team like Villa thinks he's still worth 25-30million it's going to be difficult to offload him, even if Kenny wants to.

Adams still worth keeping, he has had a poor season but I think he's undervalued right now and you'd get cheated, at least give him another season. As for Marin and Rossi, sorry but not a chance, if they're going anywhere this summer it's going to be for a club that finishes top 3 or 4.

But we can all dream, I'd like Andy back for a fraction of what we sold him for, never going to happen. I'd also like for us to keep all of our most effective players this summer, can only hope.

I thought Jose Enrique was one of the few positives to take away from this season? I wouldn't have seen that many Liverpool matches but I thought the fans approved generally.

The League is a write-off now it's all about beating Everton in the semi and then hopefully going on to win the cup which would set up a nice Community Shield game with Man United too.

Fingers crossed

Nah Aquilani wont come back and I dont blame him. Three managers in a row have ignored and not given him a chance. As for Cole, he's been playing well for Lille and he has a better attitude than some in our squad so he'd be like a new signing if we could get him back. Aurelio is another that I like but I can't see him getting in front of Enrique, apart from Bellamy, he's been our best signing and the only one whose proved value for money excluding Suarez.

I'd take £10m for him. Teams will see what he did for Newcastle and hope they can replicate that. Someone will want him. Also, after Sunday's outburst, I'm wondering if Kenny will ever play him again. What he did was unprofessional. As for Adam, he started well but he's got worse as the team have. Give him another season but I don't think I'd trust him in the first team ahead of Lucas, Gerrard or Spearing.

Beating them in the semis would be enough for me. I don't dislike Everton and don't participate in the hatred just because they're our rivals. David Moyes is doing a great job and they have some brilliant players.

The trouble is, the worse we get the harder it will be to keep hold of Reina, Suarez, Lucas, Agger and Skrtel. Gerrard and Carragher wont leave now and I'd be surprised if Johnson and Kuyt did but this could be the beginning of our path towards mid-table obscurity from one season to the next. We will find it difficult to attract the best players now as well.
