The grammy's start right after 60 minutes, sooo that should mean it really starts at 8 pm ET

Yeah, I think we've established it's on at 8 ET, just means they're actually being held at 5 in LA and being broadcast later

Does it mean that the airing on CBS will start 3 hours later? Bah.. Stupid

In the US since we have multiple time zones, this is a common practice. It will be "live" on the East coast and central time zones. And since they want it in "prime time" viewing, it will be on tape delay for West coast. So if you are watching, use the East coast time (ET) of 8pm to base your viewing.
