Q. I've noticed that the version of Yellow being played in the tour so far is faster than the album and previous live versions. Any reason for this change in tempo?
The Oracle replies:
As you can imagine when you have a song that you know you are going to be playing for the rest of your career it's good to take a different spin on it every tour. They did however ditch an acoustic version... If you look back to the Twisted Logic tour there was a completely different approach then too.

Q. Hi Oracle hope all is well; I was thinking of trying to earn a few extra quid for good old crimbo....I have been considering busking which leads me to the following questions. 1. Did any of Coldplay ever busk either together or alone? 2. If so... Were they any good? and 3. How much did they make? :) JB BELFAST.
The Oracle replies:
Chris and Will did in fact busk together during their time at UCL and they humbly say that they weren't great and didn't actually earn much at all!

Q. What exactly did Brooke have for lunch?
The Oracle replies:
Brooke's Lunch was a fluffernutter (peanut butter and marshmallow) sandwich and apple juice.

Q. Oracle! I met this really nice guy a couple days ago and I really enjoyed our conversation. I later found out that he actually lives in my building on the same floor! I'd really like to get to know him better, but I don't know how to approach him! Help me dear Oracle!
The Oracle replies:
But you've already met him and chatted so the difficult part is already over. Just get yourself over there and talk to him again. Suggest going somewhere and take it from there. I always think the straightforward approach is best, why waste time?

Q. Dear Oracle, I've recently taken up bass guitar and I can't seem to find many recognizable - and of course by this I mean that someone would need to be able to tell what song it was right away - and semi-easy songs to learn. So my question is do you have any suggestions, and also in your opinion, what songs have the best bass lines of all time?
The Oracle replies:
There are so many astounding bass lines from jazz, blues, funk, soul to grunge and rock but these are the ones that sprang to my mind immediately.
Queen's Another One Bites the Dust.
The Breeders' Cannonball.
Stevie Wonder's I Wish.
The Beatles' Come Together.
Wild Cherry's Play That Funky Music.
Brad's 20th Century.
