Recently told I look like the female Graham Coxon from Blur .

I am 5ft 7 1/2. I have long wavy black hair (naturally dark brown), green eyes, graham Coxon/Will Champion glasses on right now :P. I am a UK size 8, US size 6. I have big feet which I tend to put converse on. I wear odd socks and band Tshirts with skinny jeans and like 1950's style dresses.

Have you watched The Perks of being a Wallflower?

Yes- what did you think?

What's your opinion of stereotyping people? (People who are stereotyped for how they dress, what they listen to and those who actually do the stereotyping)

I don't like when people put me into a stereotype so I don't think it should be done to other people. It really gets me annoyed, because people base you off of it and don't see you for who you really are. They would hold you down the the limits just because of the category they put you in. For example, just because of what you wear, what you listen to, and or even race, you shouldn't be held to the limits of that category.

For the people that do stereotype, they shouldn't in my opinion, they should see people for who they are, and not what they seem to be.

I can use personal experience in my answer. Yesterday I was called a 'Grebo', this is a word that I believe in only used in the county I live in, to describe or label a person who listens to punk and heavy rock and dresses in dark clothes, often dye their hair black and have supposedly been known to turn 'emo' (actually a shortened term for emotional hardcore, a type of music, however people refer to 'emo' people as self harming people). I do listen to heavy rock and punk rock, I do have black hair and often do wear dark clothes, but by no means am I a 'goth', 'grebo' or even 'emo'. People feel the need to label people for some reason I don't know. I'm not saying I've never stereotyped someone before, I mean if I see a group of boys in caps, hoodies and trackers/sweats and trainers coming towards me with their BANGBANGBANG music blaring then I would probably assume they are chavs, I know I shouldn't but people are apparently these days labelled for what they listen to and how they dress.
