It's very funny. It says I'm watching live now. I think they're currently doing surprise performances because the names of the artist performing now are not on the list. oldiefan 1383 Posted October 28, 2019 Does anyone else think LOST is similar to Arabesque ? I listen to it and imagine Chris stomping around the stage !and Will and Guy belting out that beat on the drums ! Great stuff !!!
ksg_tarheelfan 21 Posted October 29, 2019 Poppyfields sounds similar to Harmless (beginning and outro; listen to both) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKxbDGcIkgM:174 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm8CwQrEcI8:217
Carolina* 685 Posted October 29, 2019 Here's the YouTube version of Guy's interview (with times of when he talks about Coldplay since the whole thing is almost as long as the AHFOD documentary:joy:). 20:00: Coldplay's history, what it feels like to play live to so many people 1:19:23: New album and their recording process in general 1:32:54 for all the Will fans: Will's role in Game of Thrones Very interesting interview-I can't believe it's so long. He actually talked about Coldplay more than I thought he would for a video on a car YouTube channel.
Gideon_Mx 3195 Posted October 30, 2019 A reminder: the BBC Children In Need documentary with Jodie Whittaker (actress who covered Yellow), Jonny and Will is on BBC One now =D EDIT: I haven't seen them yet, they must be showing up soon. Jodie has been talking a bit about how much she loves Coldplay though.
Gideon_Mx 3195 Posted October 30, 2019 For those who missed it, Coldplay shared an extended video of their garden performance at the beginning from Orphan's music video. It's so nice to hear this raw version of the song finally! I love this, the fact that it's just the 4 of them playing the song on an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass and drums, and just Chris + Will singing the song without the use of any additional vocals and instruments makes it so much more interesting to listen to, at least for me. To be honest, I prefer listening to this version (at the moment) because, you know, the other one is totally mastered. https://t.co/P1G4Yf7mYx

Eskapist 228 Posted November 1, 2019 Just rewatched the Live 2012 dvd to be ready for Everyday Life ... and i must say that MX tour and MX era were definitely the best to me. It may not be their best record but feels like the moment where they truly became legendary. The shows and the symbiosis between every member were at their best. Plus it reminds me a time of my life where i was allowed to be dreamy... 5

Gideon_Mx 3195 Posted November 7, 2019 Coldplay will perform at the Maida Vale Studios in London this month! It's been 12 years since the last time Coldplay visited the studio to do a performance back in 2007! Coldplay will do something like an evening session (Chris' words) at Maida Vale Studios, performance announced by Annie Mac here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVgIDJSVV3U:616 Unfortunately, we don't know when they will do this ''evening session''. I don't know if the BBC Radio 1's broadcast on November 10th has anything do do with it, here's the link : https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000b77z By the way @Stephen, is it possible for you to fix the links' colour because white doesn't make it easier to read them :grinning:

Gideon_Mx 3195 Posted November 8, 2019 Random Coldplay thought: I think Coldplay should do more soundtracks for films/movies, I think they are really good in writing songs like this. Remember Miracles and Atlas. I love these songs, especially Atlas. v v v v
