Will at be released at 12? Can anybody help me?

It's Friday night, it shouldn't be a problem staying up past 12?

Once it goes live in the US it will be all over the web anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if Coldplay Just decide to stream it so UK fand won't download it illegally.

Edit: assumin Coldplay can do that. It's different with movie deals so they might not be allowed to do that.

I have to stay at home all day on Friday because I'm expecting a package to be delivered :awesome: I can wait all day long for Atlas :awesome:

Let's hope we find a link soon enough for all of us in the UK

This morning, my excitement level was okay, but because I caught up with the thread it's now off the charts!!!!!!!!!!!

Am I .missing something here? The first air time I've seen is 10am central and short of a TARDIS I don't see how We can make Friday come a day early. The first official airing is Just under 30 hours away. But if I'm unaware of an earlier air time I will be delighted!;)

Edit:my bad. Just under 31 hours.

Good morning!

Summary of last night, a radio station in Chicago tweeted this:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Hear Brand New Music From <a href="https://twitter.com/coldplay">@Coldplay</a> This Friday on <a href="https://twitter.com/93XRT">@93XRT</a>! <a href="http://t.co/E1sAmONMm4">http://t.co/E1sAmONMm4</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Atlas&src=hash">#Atlas</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/HungerGamesUK">@HungerGamesUK</a></p>— WXRT Chicago (@93XRT) <a href="https://twitter.com/93XRT/statuses/375377361664897024">September 4, 2013</a></blockquote>

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

(times around the world)

Although I'm pretty sure radio stations in earlier time zones will also play it.

And pictures of a Mexican promo poster were tweeted.

Good morning Tash! Thanks for the recap :) That would be great news for UK fans only though, as the track is released on friday everywhere else right? So theoretically I should be able to download it from iTunes on Friday morning, quite a few hours before the chicago radio broadcast...

Hmm The article though reads "listen to the new Coldplay song for the first time ever". Does that perhaps hint to a worldwide exclusive? It does not explicitly say so, but now I am wondering whether the track will actually get a late friday release on iTunes, that is AFTER the broadcast.

I don't think it does, why would they pick a radio station from Chicago for that? That doesn't make a lot sense.

As it is a song from an american film, it would not surprise me if the first airing would be done on an american radio station to be honest, but hey I hope I am wrong and I hope to be seeing the song pop up on my iTunes friday morning :)
