Bono on Chris Martin

'We were playing with (Every Breaking Wave) for the last album and Chris talked us out of it. He said, 'That one deserves to be finished.' The half-baked version would have denied us this, so we owe him for that... he's a genius and a very self-effacing guy. He's one of our bodyguards.'

my physical copy of SOI (deluxe) came with all the acoustic versions combined in one track "Acoustic Sessions", is this standard?

I just wanted Invisible separated from SLABT

i think your copy is perfectly fine. The bonus track "acoustic sessions" is actually a compilation of acoustic versions of songs included in the standard tracklisting (my favorite bits are the stark piano version of Every Breaking Wave and the acoustic version of The Miracle (of Joey Ramone).

I'll be trying to get Amsterdam tickets for me and some friends. If we can't get tickets for Amsterdam I'm trying for myself to go see them somewhere in Europe.

I'm closest to Chicago, so I may try to go! I'm not a huge U2 fan, but their newest album is very, very good. (And the annoyance of its release everyone moaned about is past its prime now.)

Tried for Glasgow. Got royally shafted by Ticketmaster. First time experiencing U2 will have to wait...if it ever comes.

Thought about London but by time I got around to it, the cheapest tickets left were the £100 ones, so I opted against it.

I'm sorry for those who tried for tickets but couldn't get any

I was lucky to get tickets for both nights in Stockholm.

I just saw they have added dates, I hope you can try for one of those. Good luck!
