My lazy review (not including interludes):

Higher Power: 8/10 fun fun last part better

Humankind: 6/10 bad lyrics, sounds ready for a sport event, might like later

Human Heart: 8/10 moving, i cry

People of the Pride: 8/10 more guitar please

Byutiful: 8/10 gets better everytime

My Universe: 7/10 fun, BTS best part

Infinity Sign: 6/10 nothing special

Coloratura: 10/10 doesn't deserve to be on this album, too good to be here, please make more like this

Higher Power (8.0)

Humankind (9.5)

Let Somebody Go (8.5)

Human Heart (9.0)

People of the Pride (9.5)

Biutyful (5.5)

My Universe (6.5)

Infinity Sign (10)

Coloratura (10)

I'm sure a lot of these ratings seem on the high side but they are my favorite artist so I dont think it should be surprising?Β Compared to a lot of 5-6.5 range on GS.Β

I think the claps give a little life to the beginning of Infinity Sign, especially when it starts out slow in the beginning so it doesn't drag. Also gives it a more dance-y feel. Not like in AoaL where it just feels shoehorned in to me because it's the lead single.Β

Unpopular opinion: I think Coloratura isn’t all that great that people say. I give it 7/10 I prefer MU, HP, Buityful, HK, POTP and IS, LSGΒ over it any day.

Β

Sorry.

Β

It finally got released in my country yayyy! I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love this album! I don't know if it's because I listen to many genres of music or if because this new album still had the magic quality Coldplay always has for me ; they bring me joy and make my heart feel lighter (even their sad songs) and they always seem genuine to me.

I expected POTP to be one of my favourites and I was right but I really enjoyed the rest of the songs as well!Β

I think the songs will sound even greater live and might change some people's minds like AHFOD did.Β

Can I also say that I'm so happy we still get new Coldplay content??Β

Farewell For The Fans? idk I'm too tired and I read that theory on Twitter

The only way that would work is MOTS vol. 2 in 2022, MOTS vol. 3 in 2023, FFTF in 2024. Would fit the 12 album theory chris said on the radio a few days back, but wouldn't fit the "We'll keep on touring after we finished writing new songs" from that same interview.Β

Sorry this maybe a little off-topic but this tweet got me thinking about the Xylobands thing again. Those wristbands seen on the iheartradio show had writing on them saying they were recycled plastic, with Xylobands confirming on twitter those aren't their product.Β Those seen on iheartradio were also reallyΒ uncomfortable according to some people.

I always thought Coldplay had a fair share of involvement in the Xylobands brand, owning the trademarks at one point as well. During worthy farm, they used a massive set of lights on the grass, which looked very much like the Xylobands Orbs, seen in a few videos on twitter.

I've kept all my Xylobands as memories, as well as brought them to later concerts with new batteries. Really hope the new products are still developed by Xylobands / with Xylobands.

Maybe they had all songs for next 3 albums yet... Or maybe for MOTS II and III and they released parte II and III in 2022. In this case in 2023 they can write new material for the 2024 album

Even if all the other songs on the album were terrible (which I'm sure won't happen), it is saved by this beautiful thing. Coloratura is amazing. We live in a beautiful world.

After listening to the whole album, I still think the same thing.

What I feel is... except for Coloratura, if you've listened to Overtura and the singles, you've practically heard everything. The songs don't progress, they stay in one sound and are repetitive.

Infinity Sign is okay and People of the Pride could have been SO MUCH better.

For me doesn't sound like an album that I listen to until the end, but only a few songs, like Humankind e Coloratura. When I first see the title Music of the Spheres I was hoping for something so much better and conceptual. It's strange to have My Universe and Coloratura on the same album, but I think that was what the guys wanted, and it's ok.

But Coloratura, wow, the best song since I know them.
