Maybe Kaotica has something to do with Coldplay's eco views? Perhaps Kaotica is not a separate planet, but their vision of a future Earth where global warming has caused the extinction of important species of animals and plants on Earth, and human society has been brought down to its most basic form - 'kaos'. Because of people panicking, struggling to survive, Public services like rubbish collection are liquidated to fund militaries to keep people in order, but this makes the kaos worse. Civil war erupts in many countries around the world. The European Union falls apart at the seams, quickly followed by China, India and the USA, who all are reliant on each other. Only countries that are self-sufficient survive, but mental health issues spiral out of control, as people start to think they have no future in a world with no beauty and life. Suicide and disease begins to kill more people than food shortages, and further governments fall, destroyed by people who believe they have failed them. But this creates a lawless society, like a Hunger Game of 7 billion people. Eventually, everybody gives up. There is no life to live, so why live?

Luckily the world probably won't end up like that, but the story's good.

They said in the Higher Power debut chat with the astronaut that it was all allegory so yes, Kaotica has everything to do with their eco views :)

@harrisonrules -- Check out Los Unidades and Global Citizen EP ! Lucky you, you're going to get some new Coldplay songs today! Coldplay released an EP under the pseudonym "los unidades" a few years back and it's actually really good. Voodoo is a track Chris talked about around the MX era that never got released until recently. It features production from Calvin Harris,  backing vocals from Tiwa Savage, and a dope verse from Danny Ocean.

I don't ever remember Car Kids being connected to Voodoo?

Look at the animation on the top left of the screen around the very end of the video from 3:25 to 3:28...

It reminds me of one of the symbols on Chris's shoulder during the American Idol and Brits performances of Higher Power.

It also reminds me of this particular image from an article that talks about the concept of the music of the spheres. https://www.crystalinks.com/harmonyspheres.html

And look what's in the Ghost Stories cover art...

You can see it animated in much of this video, which is a snippet from the visual album version of Ghost Stories that was available for streaming on iTunes around a week before the actual album was released. As the object gets bigger it greatly resembles the aforementioned animation from the end of the Higher Power lyric video...

Also, fun fact, the object has a bunch of lyrics on it from the album, and some of them are very similar to lyrics from The Race. You can see them in this old post from @Batman in a thread I made about this back in 2014. There's also the phrase "every human life is irreplaceable, therefore it is a gift."

This book was published right around the start of the Everyday Life era. It also mentions a name similar to Orphans that if you remember Chris said was supposed to be on LP9

Honestly, this entire plot synopsis would make for an amazing space rock opera. It kind of reminds me of the MX story from the comics. I really need to read this... I'm gonna try and track it down because I love this kind of science fiction.

I mean, technically it's just a note written on a board in Coldplay's studio around that time. This is in all likelihood not a songtitle, but literally a note that says "harmony for my song" lol

Also thanks thread for reminding me Voodoo exists. Don't kill me, but to me it's the single worst song that Coldplay has ever been involved in any way ?
