1. It's scary that an improv is better than their last three albums combined. Joking, I mean that's what some people would say but not me

 2. I've been less active on the forums, I've been so busy. But, today I couldn't miss the opportunity to remember February 13, 2012 when I was aware of the existence of a band called Coldplay :) I was in the computer lab wanting to create my own personal playlist with music I had discovered by myself. The grammy's were the day before and I thought that was a good start to look for some new music, they're supposed to win because they're great or to be nominated because they are good (not my thoughts now, Justin Beiber nominated? Really?) I went through the song of the year nominees, record of the

 3. Hi everyone...just gonna post what I learned. I walked over to the Sutherland Bipolar Center, and it turns out it is part of a clinic at my university. Therefore, there are no real offices here (apparently those are about 15 minutes away), so the doctors are only there to see patients. Therefore, I couldn't talk to any people from the Center, but someone else suggested I call them (I didn't tell him what I was there for). I took a picture for 'proof' that I was there![emoji14]

 4. Thanks. @iamsue, I don't have Kindle unfortunately... This gratitude thing is true, I have actually already heard about it. I've seen another forum (a job-related one which I occasionally look into, but hardly ever post in) actually having a thread where people post things they are grateful for on that day. I have been thinking about actually making a thread like that for Coldplaying, what do you think ? You can also learn from others about the small things they appreciate in life then and share ideas. This morning, I don't know why, but I genuinely had to laugh when turned the page on my

Post finds of interesting videos, audios or interviews from the olden times, or just discuss anything about the earlier albums and songs :)

 6. I used that word just for time saving reasons :) I stopped to make war about music a couple of years ago when I just realized that everyone has its own perspective of music. Sorry if I let you intend that I was going to open again that topic, it wasn't my goal.

 7. I read it, I know you were saying something different, but you talked about production not properly (always ihmo obviously) 'cause you were trying to defend the quality of the "Newplay" songs. Let's talk frankly: during the gap between VLV and MX the band changed their target, and their style and genre by consequence. A person can like it or not, but this is what happened. Now, how can we compare songs like Spies and Paradise? They are just too different, they're galaxies apart. I'm not saying which one is better, I'm just saying they're like being played by two different bands. This is mai

 8. We're not talking about how good is an album or another, we're talking about production. MX, aside from the quality of the songs it contains (that is partially subjective), has a poor production because the high and low frequencies don't get enhanced and because all the instruments, background synths, etc. are mixed in a way that all the sounds are confusing. You can appreciate this by listening MX-era songs live: they are ALL better live. This thing doesn't happen with Parachutes or AROBTTH and even X&Y. This is the consequence of the turbulent relationship between Brian Eno and the ban

 9. So MX is better produced than Parachutes... I haven't got words anymore, it's just a mistification of reality

 10. I know its a matter of opinion and everything, but honestly the instrumentation of the last three albums are much better the 1st four. Will is a phenomenal producer and the best bass lines and some of the best riffs have come from from AHFOD alone. Again I know its opinion but i get angry when people say Mylo, Ghost Stories, or AHFOD are "forgettable" or "low effort" because its just untrue. Maybe vocal parts/lyrics aren't as meaningful (sorry Chris) but the rest of the band are for sure shining through more than ever. anyway this isnt the right place to discuss this.

 14. It certainly is, it's clearly pre-Parachutes CP material. IDK why Debs said that, but I'm so sure about it (it was also confirmed to me from CP's world "insiders" from another CP-related community). VLV is the only pre-MX I always hated, but I've already said it some time ago in the Oldplay thread ;)

 23. Your own responses to our posts, @I ran away, gave me another idea: Have you tried keeping a Gratitude Journal? Every day, you write down say 3, or even 5 things that you are grateful for that day? There is ample research suggesting that doing this contributes to one's happiness. You have so kindly and fully responded to us, that you definitely have a keen eye for seeing the positive things in life. Do you have a Kindle eReader? If so, I am going to send you the book I mentioned. Otherwise, I'll scan the INFP for you and all of us other INFP's. Going over it again is really interesting. For

 24. @I ran away sounds like you could use a good hobby to keep you going apart from work :D you might not find something that works well for you right away, but... if you never try you'll never know :P yes, i'm in grad school! i finished my undergrad last May and started grad studies in August. i'm going to the same school, but my undergrad was in animation, and now i'm studying User Experience & Interaction Design. to be honest, it's not a field that i necessarily want to go into, but i think having this knowledge will help me out in whatever i DO decide to settle on career-wise. peop

 26. I'd be cautious, this kind of claims as has been made above is frequently made before releases. Remember all those people who had "inside information" about AHFOD before its release ? Yeah... So until we have proof, I wouldn't get excited. :)

 27. @Stephen Just reading your post now, so many thoughts running through my head. I still can't believe you have only been hear a year or so, it seems you have been working your tail off here forever. It is true, the Board is very different now than it was when I first came here 10 years ago. The internet and forums were fairly new to me and the world. I had been on Nettie's Coldplay site (RIP) and I think another one but nothing like the home found here. I always kept coming back, finding friends, (actually in my area!) who loved the band as much as I did. We would ha

 28. This thread makes me happy. I shall bring my popcorn and share it with everyone :wacky: I haven't read through everything you guys posted, but have someone already mentioned the official instrumental version of "we never change"? Because I already love the song itself, but that weird instrumental is something else :drunk:

 29. I'd like to add MX and GS to this list. Princess of China and Sky Full Of Stars are classic coldplay songs that every single fan will love.
