  5. AROBTTH is my favorite album from Coldplay. The whole album is full of powerful songs, and the b-sides are pure magic too. Politik, In My Place, AROBTTH, Green Eyes and The Scientist especially are among my most favorite songs from the band ever. Lyrics are very beautiful, and the music has this vibe of sadness and longing, at least for me. In My Place and Politik were my most favorite songs until the day I heard Birds. I can still remember the moments when I heard certain songs for the first time, and this record has been a big part in many of my life's important moments. :innocent: I'm ju

  6. Got myself two birthday gifts today :D We rarely have any rare Coldplay stuff here in Finland, and was pretty surprised to see Trouble Norwegian live ep here. And that mistake in Kaleidoscope ep's pricing is quite funny. It was not 95€, only 8,95€ :joy:

  10. It was the first album I ever brought in my life, I was 11. I can feel its songs so related to my soul still today that I'm a nearly 30-years-old man. If I had to choose one song from this magnificent masterpiece it would be clearly Warning Sign... it reminds me of the chances I missed in my life that could make me a happier person, especially talking about love. It's a very intimate and personal song and I felt very pleased when the guys came to my home town to play that one on the b-stage acoustic during the MXT in 2012. I nearly cried, then they played my favourite one which is Speed Of So

  11. Hi everyone ! Can you remember when we had an individual subforum to celebrate 10 years of X&Y in 2015 ? Well, something like that doesnt exist for 15 years of AROBTTH, but I thought we could at least have a thread to celebrate it together. Today marks 15 years since the release of the first single of the Era, In My Place. And in three weeks will be the actual album release's birthday. Post your thoughts about AROBTTH or the AROBTTH Era, your birthday wishes, your favorite tracks, your discs or fan items, anything relatable to 15 years of A Rush Of Blood To The Head here :)

  15. I will be traveling for the solar eclipse later this month. A part of me wants to just be there and experience it, but a part of me wants to go for a few photos. Should I waste several precious seconds of totality to adjust my phone camera to the binocular lens? Hmm...

  16. I have no idea why they didn't put all of Live 2003 on the CD/album version. The Scientist and Trouble were good in its own rights during that concert.

  17. Has anyone read 1984? After reading it, I thought that it could have possibly connected to Violet Hill. I saw this through the lyrics: It was a long and dark December From the rooftops I remember There was snow, white snow Clearly I remember From the windows they were watching While we froze down below And especially the line : "If you love me, won't you let me know?" Anyone else see the connection?

  19. I was 9. I was sitting in my dad's car. We were in the parking lot somewhere, probably the store. I heard this song that had this really good riff. I never forget that moment. It was Clocks...around the time the album came out or months after and they were heavily on the radio. I didn't really get hardcore into them till years later, in high school during MX. Although over the years, I knew when they had came out with a new album or when they were in town. I wish I took more notice. I would have loved to go to the concerts then. X&Y and VLV. I didn't get to go to MX tour since I didn't

  23. Unless the next album is a complete 180 from what they've been doing since '11, nothing (aside VLV) can top AROBTTH as the band's best album.

  32. Coldplay employ some people who travel with them full-time but they also employ some local people for 1-3 shows. This guy is probably one of them. The t-shirt, setlist and schedule seem authentic to me I don't know what about the drumsticks and guitar pick, I've never seen them in real life. However, i don't think it's worth the price You can get a setlist, drumstick or guitar pick from a roadie (a person who takes care of the band's equipment). Just ask him kindly after the show ;) You can buy a similar t-shirt in Coldplay's store for the price below 50€

  34. X&Y. Do y'all remember X&Y the song? Of course you don't. Do you remember the masterful hook? The fucking trippy chorus? The awesome guitar? The best vocal performance on that album? No you don't. You don't because it is the most overlooked song of Coldplay's career and I will die on this hill with the three other people who agree with me. Fight me.
