  3. Clocks was the first song but never looked for the band who sang it, I wasn't interested in music. The first song I listened to and which I knew it was by Coldplay was Paradise and the next one ETIAW. Both songs made me fell in love with this band.

  10. The Coldplaying App has been neglected for some time but is now very close to being finished. Thanks to some kind donations we have been able to produce a public beta version of the app for Android with IOS coming soon. The new app uses an improved but similar layout to the previous version and contains a few new features that should make the experience much better. The beta signup is available here: http://bit.ly/ColdplayingBetaA Please leave feedback below so we can work on making the app better!

  11. I have tested the new app by doing several actions: - making a new thread - adding pictures (and used the edit function while doing so, I like that function! :) - posting, replying, quoting... all worked fine, no crashes, performance is OK. There are some things I noticed that might need improvement: When starting a new discussion, there is this large list of subforums, alphabetically ordered (so that is fine), it is a bit confusing to which actual topic they belong. So maybe divide those in like head forum topics and than after selecting that going down in the hierarchy (am

  12. I just found out more differences : The background instrumental during the 2nd verse on the YTB version (from the 1'43 to 2'18 mark) is slightly different from the EP version. I hear a sort of flute in the background The "tell your leader, sir or ma'am..." part is more clearer on YTB. On the YTB version there's an extra "just an alien" between the "of the spacetime " and "turning toward it" lines

  13. Awww thank you!!! And thank you once again for giving my daughter your cross-stitch tour balloon necklace. You did a beautiful job making that too! It will have pride of place among our CP memorabilia at home. :)

  14. Luckily the rain was nowhere near as bad as last time. More like a teaser to make us all worry but then it stopped after a couple minutes. And according to the weather app on my phone there was a 0% chance of rain all night. Guess the app didn't realize there was a Coldplay concert going on or it would have upped the prediction!!

Spies - Glasto 2002 See You Soon - Live 2003 AROBTTH - Live 2003 Everything's Not Lost - Glasto 2011 / Live 2003 Everglow at Belasco Don't Panic - Glasto 2002 Death and All His Friends - LRLRLRL Politik - Live 03, in How We Saw the World Chris doesn't sing the bridge before Will comes in which for me is a dealbreaker but it's still certainly very good, more emotion than 03 I think.

  23. Not necessarily the best, but certainly an underrated one (I think) - is Your World Turns Upside Down at Southside Festival in 2003.

  29. Finally got my copy of Kaleidoscope EP today  My favorite Coldplay release since 2008, I love it. But I couldn't help noticing a few oddities about the handwritten lyrics that have (to my knowledge) not yet been discussed here: - Miracles Someone Special lyrics are different and the Big Sean Part is missing (has already been discussed here) - ALIENS: "History has some/History's someone to know" - literally both versions are written there with a slash in between. Also contains an extra round of "Moving Target/Target Movement" and two additional lyrics of backing vocals at the end

  30. Exactly one month ago on this day, July 16 2017, I had my best ever A Head Full Of Dreams Tour concert together with @Nie. This concert in Paris will forever have a special place in my heart  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqnMhzZr4Cg Mobile Link: https://youtu.be/NqnMhzZr4Cg @ajm :p

  32. Yes !! One of Nietzsche's most famous works is Also Sprach Zarathustra (Thus Spoke Zarathustra). There is a classical music symphony by Richard Strauss that goes by the same name. It begins with that distinct progression of 3 notes that Square One also starts with: Well done, your turn !

  36. VLV in my case, but not until 2012. I listened to harder rock music back then and barely knew who CP was. My usual hard rock radio station played VLV and it just gripped me. As soon as I got home I googled, "Who sings 'that was when I ruled the world?" and luckily I got pointed in the right direction. I bought that CD and liked Violet Hill and Cemeteries of London but wasn't sure about the rest of that album. Then one day my kids were watching the cartoon movie "The Wild" and my ears picked up on Clocks. I instantly realized it sounded like a CP song but didn't recognize it. Loved it th

  37. Speed of Sound. I watched the music video on MTV once when i was like 15 without knowing them. Two super-recognizable things about it: 1. the music video itself with those dancing lights + 2. Clocks riff (they're similar after all). I couldn't forget about the music video & that catchy tone over the years, then i discovered the band in viva era thx to MTV again and become a coldplayer.
