I have a good laugh every time I see the title :joy: Is a long and dark November...

I am hoping that the reason they are taking this long is because they are creating a really awesome tour diary documentary or even a documentary of the band's whole life together, to go along with the release. And maybe its taking a while to put together old footage, remastering old footage, interviews with people? That is all I can hope for anyway! :P

Not sure what to think of this now. I'm super excited for its release but it feels like the AHFOD era has been well and truly done with for quite a while now, considering the album came out in 2015, it feels a bit awkward that the live album/film will be released so long after the tour has finished (if they do release it). Half of me thinks it makes no sense from a commercial point of view because there might be little interest now but then at the same time, Coldplay have such a good relationship with the general public, anything they put out is likely to do well anyway and it's not like none

Chris never said the year tho...

I'm saying if they choose to even release this AHFOD live DVD/CD well after the AHFOD era ended. They worked on an X&Y live project, never truly released it. Same with VLV. Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't do a full blown release for this.

Remember this song Chris sang about Julia Roberts' smile at some charity event the other day ? The band actually registered it in ASCAP.... :rolleyes:

Welcome to the forums ! I just wanted to caution that unfortunately, it is as of yet not clear if Coldplay, who are currently on a hiatus, will play in any of these events. In the past some Global Citizen festivals either only had a brief appearance by Chris for some non-Coldplay songs or no appearance by either Chris or the band at all.

All righty! So sorry it took so long to post details, but finally here I go: On the festive end, my fabulous Secret Santa contained: a snowflake headband, multicolored lights, lovely wooden ornaments, and confetti. On the AHFOD rainbow end, two beautiful photo frames, a pencil, colored elastic which I’m planning to use on my hand-knits, a golden butterfly, a gorgeous keychain, and a “Someone Special” ruler! On the paper end, a picture of Jonny-town, a super cute card, and an issue of a music magazine featuring the boys! And finally, (drumroll, please) a “Live at Abbey Road” C

A long hiatus and then bring back rock and roll and pristine songwriting and beat Adele's 31 Either that or cocaine whores and death

who gives a shit......what they(coldplay) did sounds better anyways......how many fucken songs out that sound similar and nobody says shit...........the only reason why this is all coming out is cause its a fucken sick ass song and people are coldplay haters..and they want to steal there thunder.........SO PEOPLE STOP FUCKEN HATING ON COLDPLAY......AND GET A FUCKEN LIFE ..........so u can try and make something as good as coldplays music (which i really doubt)..........SO AGAIN FUCK ALL U COLDPLAY HATERS IF UR READING THIS!!!!!.......
