  2. I was a Coldplay fan pretty early however I will state that I didn't fully recognized them until "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" album launched. After I purchased "Rush" I knew I had to fetch the previous CD they worked on, I just admired them quite a ton... then it hit me hard that I had known of and enjoyed their other songs before but I just didn't know-know the band. I feel the need the thank MTV for that... honestly I wouldn't have heard their earlier tracks at all, well.... "Yellow" was the exception, hehehe. And if it wasn't watching the music videos of their songs, their songs were of

  3. In my current state of life my husband and I are going to be proud parents soon. This event has caused me to evaluate my life and even my passing, so Ive been researching and putting to paper a rough idea of my dying will. With that said I know for a fact I want the loved ones still around to listen to a Coldplay song when they honor my eventual passing etc... So my current song that I've been thinking about lately is, ` "O" / "Fly On" ` in particular the short 3:50 time stamp version. I think that song is a great sort of send off. I'm sorry if I brought this thread down mood-wise.

  7. It was being hosted by my university's planetarium, so, yeah, same sort of idea. I don't think there is any space aspect to it though. They do it for a lot of bands including Pink Floyd, Queen, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Journey, etc, etc. The website said the Coldplay one was August 31 - Feb 8, but it appears you can buy tickets for a March 14 Coldplay show, so I hope that is real and not a glitch!

  8. Y'know, i've never been a fan of Birds, but since the live album came out, ive really been diggin' it more and more. So its made its way onto my permanent playlist in the car. Trouble is, it turns out I have no idea how to sing it, like, what the words are. Just went to the website to see what they actually are, and boy was I way off hah

  10. Cool @Carolina* , sorry, I dont know if this thread will bust or not. But again, I dont have instagram and i dont know how this will work. As another user mentioned, it could be like the stream coldplaying does/used to do. Also, I guess you could post here if Guy replied to your post on instagram or something. I thought there'd be a bit more hype since this is the first of the band who openly has their own social media account. But then again, we are in the off season.

  12. I would very much like all the four of them sing together a capella (or with just one or two guitars) as they did on their trip to Barcelona with Brian Eno. Their voices go very well together, especially those of Chris and Will, but also Guy and Jonny can sing well. I am sure among their many unreleased songs there are some which they could sing.

  13. I agree! Again, I love the emotion he puts when he sings, it never fails to make me smile. :) Here's another gem I found: lead vocals on Till Kingdom Come! Now the gem metaphor isn't for nothing because I had to do quite the digging since this perfomance is very hard to find anywhere! For how obscure it is, it's suprising that it got a mention on Will's Wikipedia page (which is what made me search this in the first place). Even though in the recording you can't see the band peform, the audio is very clear! Also as a bonus, in the same video the band covers Michael Jackson's Billie Jean! :D
