  1. Here is a new 5.1 breakdown i made. This one is from a portion of Magic from the SNL 2014 gigs. Really worth a listen even though it may sound novel. Sounds pretty good especially when the acoustic guitar kicks in. Something to note is that the vocal reverb track playing in the background isn't the same as what Chris actually sung and is some sort of pre-recorded backing vocals. We don't have stems for the song and I think it sounds pretty good! magic5.1.mp3

  4. I hate to be the skeptic in this thread but I think we shouldn't get our hopes up for every full moon. The moon phases are an aesthetic the band has been using in the AHFOD Era, and then again after the Everyday Life Era as can be seen on their new "non-era" merch. Since summer people have speculated every single full moon and it was to no avail. At this point I'm pretty sure the band isn't gonna release LP9 this year. Three weeks ago they were still in the middle of recording in Berlin! And there is no way to mount a tour in 2021, so there is no point in rushing LP9 only to be able to t

  8. Today Coldplay played a short live set on Instagram in support of Global Citizen’s ‘Every Vote Counts’ campaign. Coldplay, a band comfortable playing in front of 70,000 people in stadiums, played live to a virtual audience today on Instagram in their typical awkwardly cute ways. We were treated to Phil on camera, pointing his phone close to each band members face while they cheerily smile and laugh at each other.
