In an interview with Le Parisien, Chris Martin has revealed the extent of Beyonce's involvement on forthcoming album, 'A Head Full Of Dreams'.

Beyonce will play the role of "An Angel" on the record, as her elegant vocals feature during 'Hymn For The Weekend' and 'Up&Up'.

Still no word on which track former Oasis man, Noel Gallagher will feature on, in addition to Merry Clayton. We already know that Swedish singer, Tove Lo will appear on the song, 'Fun'.

The energetic comeback single, 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' has already made quite the impact, since it's unveiling on Friday! 'AOAL' is perched at the #1 spot of 9 countries worldwide, within the iTunes charts!

In the UK and U.S., 'AOAL' occupies the third and sixth positions, making an instant impact. On Youtube, the official audio has gathered over 1.5 million views so far. When compared to previous official uploads on Youtube, the like/dislike ratio suggests a largely positive reaction from general listeners, similar to the ratio of Paradise, in 2011.

The track has already received it's live debut on TFI Friday and has been performed once again by Coldplay, during a brief stint on stage at the NRJ Music Awards in France, this evening. There aren't any videos available to stream but a few forum members have kindly shared download links to the HD video.

Coldplay's first single from the 'A Head Full Of Dreams' era made it's live debut this evening on TFI Friday in the UK.

The host of TFI Friday, Chris Evans entertained Chris, Jonny, Will and Guy in the chat portion of the show by performing a series of funny tasks, such as attempting to play the banana piano (See below) but Chris just couldn't work it out!!

The band performed at the end of an intriguing show and as the flower of life beamed onto the surface of the stage, Coldplay were ready to perform 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' for the first time (of many!). Needless to say, the crowd were digging the tune and were shuffling their feet! Performance wise, Coldplay were evidently shaking off a bit of rust but a good performance nonetheless. The song really stood out during the climax, when the crowd joined in with the 'Whooohooo's'. Very encouraging too, if you think of how it would sound at a Coldplay concert in front of 40,000 fans!

In less than 12 hours since the pre-order of 'A Head Full Of Dreams' was made available and the release of Coldplay's comeback single, 'Adventure Of A Lifetime', Coldplay have already reached the top of the iTunes album chart in the UK!

The pre-order of 'A Head Full Of Dreams' is also positioned at #3 in the U.S. and #1 in Portugal. The first single, 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' climbed to #3 in the UK iTunes single charts. 'AOAL' is also at #6 in the U.S. and #3 in Portugal.

One To Watch - Coldplay V Adele

There will be a UK chart battle on the horizon between Coldplay and Adele. The 'Hello' singer's new album will be in it's third week of sale when Coldplay release 'A Head Full Of Dreams'. The British band are predicted to have a huge first week of sales but Adele is a massive force within the charts right now, so the battle should be very close. If Coldplay manage their seventh #1 album in a row, they'll equal the record set by The Beatles for the most #1 albums in a row!

New Coldplay songs from 'A Head Full Of Dreams' will be performed in public for the first time, as part of a 'TIDALXCOLDPLAY' concert, presented by U.S. radio station, KROQ.

Music streaming service, Tidal re-launched earlier this year and the man at the helm of the company, Jay-Z brought Chris Martin on board as a representative of the brand. A Coldplay exclusive has long been tipped, ever since Chris' involvement with Tidal and it's now been revealed that they'll get the exclusive debuts of new tracks from 'A Head Full Of Dreams' at their concert next Friday.

Sirius XM Interview - Friday 6th November 2015

Chris Martin visited the Sirius XM studios in New York last year and promised he'd stay in touch with them, once 'A Head Full Of Dreams' was finished and honouring that promise, the radio station called the Coldplay frontman, who was more than delighted to answer their questions.

Huge credit must be given to Sirius XM, who asked some intriguing questions during the 9 minute long interview. One of them was on the avenues the band were exploring in 2015, compared to the 2005 Coldplay. Chris Martin said they were expressing two new freedoms. One was:

The humble singer felt "very blessed" that they could bring those different worlds into the studio, when referring to their Norwegian producers, Stargate and the featured artists within the album, such as Beyonce and Noel Gallagher.

Chris also revealed a teaser video for us fans:

When asked whether the short release notice of their seventh album was by design, the British frontman said "Yes" and added, "There's no need to wait".

For the lead single, 'Adventure Of A Lifetime', Chris asked guitarist, Jonny Buckland to invent a riff that's better than the classic Guns And Roses hit, 'Sweet Child O' Mine'. When Chris heard Jonny's attempt at their new single's guitar riff, he said "That's it!". The band all in all are very satisified with their new material and wanted to 'embrace their love of joyful music'

To give you some background information on the artist you'll get used to hearing about over the course of the new era, Pilar Zeta is an Argentinean artist, graphic designer and fashion designer best known for her surrealist album covers. Her previous works are pictured, within the montage at the top of this page (Thanks Fer42). She is currently based in Los Angeles, where Coldplay's lead singer also spends a large portion of his time at.

The reaction of the new artwork across the Coldplay community has been mixed. The middle portion of the art (from the posters we've seen) has been receiving much praise. However, the expanded version is getting a mixed reaction so far. Pilar's work in general is getting a warm reception from fans. Coldplaying.com can reveal that Coldplay have finished recording for this year and are currently preparing for their impending tour. The British four piece won't return to their London studios for the remainder of the year, as they are set to start their promotion for 'A Head Full Of Dreams' (December 4th release likely), outside of the UK.

According to a conversation between fans and Coldplay's sound engineer, Dan Green, the band are in "pre-production" for the upcoming tour. He also confirmed that the band were in the studio up until last week and won't be returning until 2016. India and Brazil are among likely concert destinations, with 'A Head Full Of Dreams' being partly inspired by Indian culture, while South America are 'in the front of Coldplay's minds' following the unfortunate Latin American tour cancellation in 2013.

Coldplay posted the animated "Flower of life" symbol of their Facebook and Twitter pages earlier today, confirming they were behind the mysterious poster, which popped up in the London underground on Friday. The December 4th date on the advertisement is believed to be the album release date (no confirmation, as of yet).

We're encouraging fans to report sightings of these posters. DieProspekt on the forums has set up a thread to keep track of all the cities in the world, where the 'AHFOD' poster appears!

So far, there are four confirmed sightings in the London Underground (Mornington Crescent, Baker Street, Waterloo, Camden Town), one in Washington DC and one (multiple on same wall) in Los Angeles. A London underground poster, appearing to reveal the release date of Coldplay's upcoming seventh album, 'A Head Full Of Dreams' has prompted a barrage of online excitement and curiosity among Coldplay fans. @leethommo tweeted the advertisement, after spotting the similarities to Coldplay's official website timeline.

Other Coldplayers, based in London have confirmed sightings of the "flower of life" poster. It's almost certain that the poster is Coldplay related. Is it the release date of 'A Head Full Of Dreams'? We would be surprised if it was something else other than the album release date but we'll get more information soon.

Rik Simpson added to the excitement, when he was asked what the poster was. He wittily replied with: "that's a cool picture". Excitement levels went up another notch, when the Coldplay producer also tweeted this animation:

If you've been hanging around the community over the past few hours, you would of noticed the explosion of posts. No, the first single isn't released (yet!) but we have, perhaps the third best thing (second being an actual live performance). A soundcheck performance of a new song!

The track in question is rumoured to be called 'Amazing Day'. This is based on the assumption that the main lyric, 'Amazing Day' within the chorus will be the title of the new tune.

We may hear the new song at tomorrow's Global Citizen Festival, in New York. According to fans at the soundcheck, Coldplay's frontman is sitting on the fence as to whether the new song will debut, or not.

Coldplay returned to the live stage for the first time in over 6 months, last Friday night, as the band showcased some of their greatest hits, in front of the Las Vegas crowd at the iHeart Radio Music Festival.

The band were kitted out in what we can assume is their clothing for the 'A Head Full Of Dreams' era. It was interesting that Will's drum kit, among other stage decorations donned an Indian theme. Whether this will be a theme for the era, or just for the first single (It's video was shot in India the other week), only time will tell! We've picked up new lyrics from Chris' clothing and we understand they're most likely from the title track, 'A Head Full Of Dreams'.

'A Head Full Of Dreams' - The Latest Rumours

We know Coldplay have been shooting a music video in India last week. We saw the first glimpse of what appears to be Chris Martin's clothing for the 'A Head Full Of Dreams' era.

For those wandering whether Coldplay actually performed a new song at the shoot, 'Saketblitz' on the forums was lucky enough to be at the shoot and said only a backing track was played (at least when they were there). The song seemed 'fun and colourful' and was 'dancy'. They weren't required to sign anything but they don't want to give anything away at the same time.

Onto the latest set of rumours then:

- Brinton Bryan, a director, currently specializing in virtual reality filming was spotted in India, at the band's filming location.

It's thought that the upcoming track's video could be available in virtual reality, akin to this clip of 'A Sky Full Of Stars' from 'Ghost Stories Live 2014':

There are reports from residents in India that the whole Coldplay crew are there too. The band are strongly rumoured to be performing live in India at some point this year and Coldplay's sighting (Chris and Jonny at least) will only strengthen those rumours.

Coldplay's frontman went on a trip to India recently, as part of his Global Citizen role and to raise awareness on global poverty, including the state of sanitation in the South Asian Country. We were expecting his business with Global Citizen to resume when he was spotted back in India today:

However, based on the above, it looks like Coldplay business which is very exciting indeed!

After a quiet few weeks, there's much more noise surrounding Coldplay's next album release. Various media reports suggest a late 2015 release for 'A Head Full Of Dreams', in line with recent predictions.

One of the trademark signs that a new era is on the horizon are the classic magazine scans (view the archive here). In the latest edition of the Rolling Stone magazine, they have featured Coldplay in the upcoming albums preview. 'coldplaykb' was kind enough to share it with us. Nothing new or groundbreaking though.

Interestingly, they've picked up the happy song quote, in which Chris Martin told of his desire to record the 'perfect happy song', which he currently considers Pharrell William's recent hit to be. If he manages to write Coldplay's most uplifting song yet, surely it will be the lead single from LP7. Your thoughts?
