I was surprised to see Coldplay's A Rush of Blood to the Head positioned ONLY at no. 71, but pleased to see both that album and Viva la Vida ... on the list. But both should be in top 10. I just wanted to say that probably lots of people voted VLV just because the knew it better than AROBTTH.... if everyone vote only "good quality" music, in this chart you wouldn't find "Girls Aloud", "The Prodigy" and "Britney Spears". Jay Z has been lined up to perform a medley of his hits at the Brit Awards next February. It is understood Jay-Z will team up with another performer when he takes to the stage, believed to be either Alicia Keyes, Coldplay's Chris Martin or his wife Beyonce Knowles.

"Jay-Z is confirmed as one of the key performers," a source told The Sun newspaper. "In weak years there have been problems securing the big international artists. But knowing Jay-Z is there will help to secure other big acts now."

Organisers are keen to book as many big names as possible as next year's show marks the 30th anniversary of the awards. Robbie Williams will close the show, as he will take home the Outstanding Contribution To Music accolade. Other artists set to perform are a closely guarded secret, but UK rockers Kasabian are said to be in the running.

The studios where the first three albums were recorded had names of course but were already well established as studios; Rockfield, Parr St and Sarm Studios were used.

Q. Um... there is this difficult decision I have to make... So we are 3 boys and 2 girls in sort of a band. The girls sing, but it seems like they don't want to sing anymore after a few weeks. Should we - the boys - kick them out? I mean, we all are good friends, we're in the same class, and we wouldn't want to ruin that! What should I do? Thank you!

Don't make this a boys versus girls issue. It's a band issue plain and simple. Arrange a band meeting and ask each member whether they are committed to the band and anyone who isn't can leave. For it to have a chance of working everyone has to put the effort in. If this is just a hobby to them maybe you need to establish that. You can still be friends but don't let the meeting turn into a fight. You said you are in "sort of a band" so that begs the question, are any of you actually committed? Think seriously about why you are doing it and what you want to achieve because you all need to have a shared goal or it won't work.

Apparatjik, Guy Berryman's side project with Magne from A-Ha, Jonas from Mew and Martin Terefe from Kensaltown Records has sent out a new a track from their forthcoming album to 30 lucky people ahead of the official release.

Apparatjik is releasing the first track on November 30th, entitled 'Electric Eye' via their website Apparatjik.com, and links to a one minute sample of the song are available now. You can discuss the lead vocals and decide whether it's Guy Berryman at the Coldplay forum here [thanks iriden, squareone13, ImLovingGuyBerryman & robmatt66]

Since September 9th Apparatjik have added a video to their website every two weeks, asking people to submit to the so called EyeOnCommittee a story to link these (very random) videos. The prize for the stories approved was the track from their album.

Guy Berryman previously formed a side project 'Apparatjik' with A-Ha's Magne Furuholmen and Mew's Jonas Bjerre to soundtrack Bruce Parry's BBC2 TV show 'Amazon' with their song 'Ferreting'. The song appeared on the forthcoming compilation album, 'Amazon Tribe: Songs For Survival', released on October 6, 2008.

A new song from Apparatjik has been sent to the 30 people who submitted their synopsis of the 4 videos in their website. It's a track from their forthcoming (but no one knows when) album and it's called Electric Eye. I'm not gonna post the entire song, since it was given to those who've been creative and participative to their project, it's just a 1 minute sample, which I hope is gonna make you want to listen more. If that's the case, you can have the whole song by submitting your synopsis or you can wait 'till November 30th when they will it make available on their website. Some of us decided to give people the chance to listen to a sample of this song (I posted it in MM), to try and convince people to keep sending them the synopsis (the stories linking the videos) and promoting them in general, since we've been asked to spread the word. Checked out a few tracks by them - very unconventional but great stuff indeed. A few crazy, independent and shoegazing elements in it. I love the way they apply the instruments. Sorry for the annoying comparison - but to me it kinda sounds like the very early Coldplay style - just Chris' classical songwriting is missing. I'm looking forward to their new tracks. I think Guy had a lot of influence on Coldplay's style from the beginning on. And you can still hear this unique style on almost every Coldplay track. I always wondered which one of the bandmembers is responsible for it - now I think I have a clue and Guy has one more fan. This kind of style brings the edges to Coldplay's music and that's exactly the part of their music that attracted me, all this mystery and the profundity in their songs. I hope it will not get lost along the way because a few steps have already been taken with the last two albums (though not that much with Viva). That's why I am always saying that Chris is nothing without his band members. Please calm down now - I do not mean it as an offence but I think Chris had a tendency to triviality in his songwriting in the recent years, for example more simple song structures. Don't punch me, I said it's just a tendence - I still love Chris and all his great abilities - without him Coldplay could never exist and he's the one who keeps them all together. Nevertheless he's not Mr. Coldplay and in all our admiration for him we should not forget that Johnny, Will and Guy also have a great impact on the music that we love. I'm sure this is Guy. Had a listen to the Terefe/Whitecross stuff, and found that the same guy singing on "4 Can Keep a Secret" (an Apparatjik clip on Youtube) is singing on that record as well...i.e Martin. And it's neither Jonas or Mags either. So it must be Guy! [thanks robmatt66]

Thx Guy for influencing the band in such a great way! On the south bank show, there is a moment where Guy, Will and J are listenning stuff in the studio and I thought it sounded like Apparatjik's stuff. Plus, I've said it elsewhere but the Exhibition room on Coldplay.com is a copy-cat of the 'Uploader' on Apparatjik.com... [thanks a-chan]

I think its Mags, not Guy. Personally, I don't think it sounds anything like Guy's regular speaking voice or have a Scottish accent, but it definitely has a resemblance to Mags' voice on "Past Perfect Present Tense". [thanks yeahhright]

Coldplay, Radiohead, Beck, The Kooks, and Oasis are among the artists that will be featured on War Child: 10, a new compilation that will be released Dec. 1 through Universal. You can discuss this news here at the Coldplay forum now.

The collection marks the 10th anniversary of War Child's founding in Canada, and features some covers of classic songs by the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and others. It also features a new recording of Patti Smith's "People Have The Power" by Friends Of War Child, a group that includes The Cliks' Lucas Silveira, Chantal Kreviazuk, Liam Titcomb and Shiloh.

All proceeds from sales of the album will be donated to War Child, which is an international charity working to support children affected by war in developing countries by promoting children's rights, education and poverty reduction.

War Child currently operates in Afghanistan, Sudan and its Darfur region, Uganda, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka and Georgia.

Q. Dear Oracle, Could you ask the Curator if it is difficult to pick a new piece of art to show each day? Also, could you ask how many pieces are sent in each day? Thank you

I asked... in the 2 weeks since the room opened its virtual doors there have been 2868 submissions so that's a little over 200 per day. And apparently it's very difficult because the standard is very high. It can't be harder than selecting questions here but anyway... I'll take this opportunity to mention that the Curator does their thing and I do mine so I'm wondering why I am getting a lot of questions sent in about it. Folks there really is no point sending me notes telling me that your friend has submitted a great piece of work and you're upset it's not up. Or that you yourself have submitted and want to know if you should assume it's rubbish. I leave all those decisions to the Curator but as I just mentioned if it's getting 1434 entries per week and only 5 are displayed the odds of being chosen are greatly reduced. Similarly to the Oracle section this doesn't mean it won't appear in the future so I guess that's something we do have in common.

Q. Is the Thin White Duke who remixed Viva La Vida in any way associated with David Bowie?

Certainly David Bowie used that moniker before Stuart Price (also a.k.a Thin White Duke) began using it for his remixes. That's where their connection with the name ends. FYI David Bowie was the curator/director of the Meltdown Festival back in 2002. In this role he chose Coldplay as one of the performers.

All my life I've had great grades at school, and I've always loved to study, basically all my life I have tried to be the best in the academic world, but it seems that from a time on all of these is falling apart and I don't know why, specially because I don't have any big problems that can cause this, I was wondering if maybe you could give some advice so that I can get back on track and stop failing all these grades... :D Thank you! The further you get into studying the harder the subject becomes. It can mean that although you were top of the class at secondary/high school you may slide at college/university. If you say that you don't have any big problems that could be causing your grades to suffer, be cautious that your concern over them doesn't become a problem. All you need to do is relax, stay focused, create a comfortable space for study and give yourself plenty of time to tackle the work. Try not to panic and take some pressure of yourself by not trying to achieve the highest possible grades. If it does continue, maybe have a word with your teacher/tutor for some more guidance. Good luck!

Just to explain what those lyrics refer to... Glastonbury Festival has in recent years gained a reputation for its rain that ends with the site (Worthy Farm) becoming a mud bath and Michael Eavis is the founder of the festival which began in 1970.

There were 2 separate fanzines but both are now defunct. The first was run by a group of ten dedicated fans and sent out as a physical magazine to subscribers of the short-lived official fan club Coldplayground. The second ezine replaced the fan club and was a free mailout send via email. There are copies of Coldplayground's fanzine still available on the Internet if you hunt around.

Q. Hey Oracle. This might come off very narcissistic, so don't take this the wrong way. I'm the prettiest of my friends. I dress the best, I always look the best, but somehow whenever we go out, they get all the attention from guys. I really don't understand why, and it's starting to get to my self esteem. Any idea why this happens?

There's a line between being aware of your attractiveness and vanity. You may need to look at whether you are acting in a way that is unattractive. Perhaps you are confident in your looks and therefore give off a certain vibe that men might find off-putting? If not, it could be as simple as men finding beauty daunting; they may think you are too pretty to approach in case you reject them. Your friends may be natural and comfortable when they go out but perhaps beauty is in the eye of the beholder and your friends are just as gorgeous as you... which is why they are getting attention. Self-esteem shouldn't come from what a guy thinks of you by the way so although you know you are good looking, why not look deeper?

Hi Lola, it's nothing personal but there isn't always an answer to some. For example the much asked "why do the band talk about keeping or not keeping their feet on the ground in many of their songs?" There are generally recurring themes whether they be webs, fixing or feet on the ground and that just reflects life and feelings that the band (and lots of us) experience. Just to re-cap questions don't need to be sent in more than once as they are all read even if they're not always replied to. Don't forget they're not necessarily answered on a first come first served basis either.

X Factor's Stacey Soloman was made up yesterday to receive a special delivery from Coldplay. The singer - nicknamed Dagenham Stace - was said to be ecstatic when she received a personalised signed disc from frontman Chris Martin and the rest of the band. It read: "We love watching you on TV. Your singing is great and you're very lovely, Coldplay x." See the photo after the jump.

Stacey sang Coldplay's track The Scientist in week one of the live finals and received praise from all four of the judges. A source backstage said: "Stacey was over the moon with the present and was quivering with excitement. She literally couldn't believe it. Dannii's thrilled that the band namechecked Stacey, too."

Dreams can be funny things Gabriel. You can have intimate dreams about people that you don't have those kind of feelings for. You may wake up feeling confused and wonder whether maybe you do have hidden feelings you aren't aware of.

Be honest about your real life but the subconscious dream doesn't necessarily mean there's something you have to confess to. It could be that she featured in your dream because her name was mentioned during the day or you saw her recently etc. Meanings of dreams can sometimes be very obvious but don't let it potentially ruin your relationship. If however you do have strong feelings towards another girl and know this is why you had the dream, perhaps it's time to address your relationship. Either way you still don't really need to tell her about the dream.

Q. Dear Oracle, I was just reading the Hopes and Fears deluxe edition booklet, and it says, "The same label had helped Coldplay by releasing their Brothers & Sisters single in 1999 (which meant Rice-Oxley was following in the footsteps of former University friend Chris Martin)." Does that mean that Chris and Tim aren't friends anymore?

The 'former' is referring to the University not to be being friends. They do still bump into each other from time to time but aren't actually close friends as both are so busy with their bands. It's very hard to keep in touch with people when you're in a band; writing, recording and touring. Chris once phoned Danny MacNamara (Embrace) to ask if they were still friends as it had been so long since he'd had the chance to get in touch. (He said yes by the way). For anyone interested the label that released both Coldplay's and Keane's first outing was Fierce Panda.

Ah yes, there were a few people from the States and Scandinavia who also asked this question. A quid is one pound, Chrimbo/Crimbo is another name for Christmas and busking is performing music on the streets for money. You can be moved along by police in many areas so it's worth checking before you venture into this! FYI: London Underground allows a number of artists to perform at certain pitches; before 2003 it was actually illegal.

Q. I've noticed that the version of Yellow being played in the tour so far is faster than the album and previous live versions. Any reason for this change in tempo?

As you can imagine when you have a song that you know you are going to be playing for the rest of your career it's good to take a different spin on it every tour. They did however ditch an acoustic version... If you look back to the Twisted Logic tour there was a completely different approach then too.

The performance took place at the Capitol Records Studio in Hollywood, CA on July 19, 2009. You can discuss this performance at the Coldplay forum here onwards. Here's Anchorman with more details:

Good afternoon. You might remember that, back in July, Roadie #42 wrote about a Stripped acoustic session which Coldplay recorded in LA's Capitol Records building. Well, you can now watch the session on iheartradio's site by clicking here. And it's quite a treat. Anchorman

Here's what Roadie #42 wrote about the intimate show: "In the spirit of keeping things interesting, there's nothing like a quick "two gigs in one day, in two separate cities" to keep you on your toes. The band have been booked in to do a radio recording at the Capitol Records building to a very small audience. Beyond this, details have been decidedly sketchy. Eventually, the day is upon us and things begin to take shape...

It's actually my first visit to the Capitol Records building. It's such a completely iconic structure in both the LA skyline and the music business, that like a Beatles song or a Pink Floyd album cover, you can't help but feel like you've known it all your life.

The show is entitled "stripped", so the band are doing it in a largely acoustic fashion. Chris admits during the show that these kind of things are more nerve-wracking than the big outdoors gigs. Hardly surprising really, given that they've been rehearsing the big gigs for a year now, whereas the rehearsal for this? Erm, well, I'm sure they discussed the setlist in the van down here...

As far as instrumentation goes, there's a small upright piano, some acoustic guitars and for Mr Champion? Well, he starts off with a cardboard tape-reel box (and given the history of this place, I guess I really should have read the label...). He soon discards this and upends a dustbin, before finally settling on a huge empty water bottle from the cooler in the corner. It's rough around the edges and somewhat shaky to begin with, but once they find their feet on Viva, it's clearly going to be a win. They go on to do some of the C-Stage favourites in fine form before pointing out that it's time to head over to get back to the day-job.

Q. Hi Oracle, I have a dilemma that's making me feel somewhat guilty. I've been messaging with this guy I met on the internet. The conversations have ranged from nice and fun, to flirtatious and extremely racy. The problem is, I know this guy has a girlfriend. I tell myself it's ok, because we don't know each other, never seen each other, and we aren't physically doing anything. Plus, we live in two different countries, and its just fantasizing, right? Should I be ashamed, or is it harmless? I seriously want to know from an outside opinion. Thanks.

The fact you took the time to write to me and ask makes me think you already have your own view of whether this is ok or not; telling yourself it's ok doesn't seem to be working for you otherwise you wouldn't be perhaps looking for outside validation? So Bonnie rather than sit here playing judge and jury I will urge you to do the following and keep this in mind for any dilemmas you may face... Look at this from a different perspective. Put yourself in his girlfriend's shoes. How would you feel if you discovered your boyfriend was sending another girl such messages? Cheating doesn't necessarily have to involve physical activity. Even though you are miles apart would it make any difference if he lived 2 streets away?

The Pet Shop Boys are set to release a Christmas EP featuring a Coldplay cover, they have announced. The pop veterans played their version of "Viva La Vida" across this summer's festival circuit. It will feature alongside their take on "My Girl" by Madness, as part of the five-track collection. The tracklisting also features "It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas", "All Over The World" and "Viva La Vida"/"Domino Dancing"/"My Girl" (Our House Mix). "Christmas" is out on December 14. Meanwhile, in the final part of the Mirror's exclusive series with Barry and Robin Gibb to coincide with the release of The Ultimate Bee Gees CD and DVD, Barry has revealed that out of the current crop of musical talent, there are a few bands which excite Barry Gibb more than Coldplay, saying that he'd love to work with Chris Martin. "I love them," he says. "The kind of songs they write are very much like Bee Gees songs."

Over at the MTV Europe Music Awards, the Best World Stage Performance was won by Linkin Park, who triumphed over Coldplay and other acts, while Pixie Lott was pronounced the first ever MTV Push Artist. Both categories were added to this year's EMAs for the first time, recognising artists who have been championed by MTV.

Finally, Morten Harket of A-Ha has revealed in a magazine article that Chris Martin is not a 'sombre guy'. The article goes on to say: "This photo of me [below] with Coldplay's Jonny Buckland and Chris Martin was taken at the Brit Awards in 2006. I was asked to present the Best British Single award to them as a surprise. Chris has always been very vocal about his love for A-ha, which is great, and we get on really well. I first met Chris at a festival of arts in Barcelona, about eight years ago - it was when Coldplay were just bursting onto the scene with their album Parachutes. The band are at the top of their game now and it's interesting because they're going through a lot of the same things we went through in the '80s. We see each other regularly and there's a special bond between us, because not a lot of people can relate to what fame does to you. Suddenly everyone in the world wants a piece of you. Not being able to walk down the street without people pointing and talking about you as if you're not there can be strange.

I've discussed with Chris how people think that success generates self-confidence, but sometimes being the centre of attention can actually make you feel less confident and a bit isolated. Coldplay did 200 shows on their last tour and it can be a bit of a blur. You have to find a way of enjoying it again, and that's the same whether it's year one or year 25. It has been really fantastic to watch Coldplay go from strength to strength and I wish them all the best. Chris is very serious about his music, but he's not a sombre guy! He has a very humerous side, but he's just passionate about the things that matter to him. It's gratifying to see someone very talented make the most of it! [thanks mimixxx]

Coldplay used to play a cover of the Bond theme You Only Live Twice live around ten years ago (with a Goldfinger finale). The song was available on the Don't Panic E.P import; it's not widely available and as it wasn't a full release it's not been included in the Recordings section.

Q. My son Henry who's 4 is having a flu jab tomorrow, my wife says that we should tell him, I think not, what do you suggest?

Personally I think you should definitely tell him but don't make a fuss. If you don't tell him you run the risk of him not trusting you in the future. All you have to do to avoid potentially having anxiety whenever you leave the house is sit him down and explain very matter of fact what will happen and why. I hate injections and if you do too, you may be assuming he will have a fear. Try to act calmly while he is having it done. If he does show signs of distress just remember the flu jab doesn't hurt - perhaps a sting - but may be necessary for a mere few seconds of discomfort.

Chris Martin is denying cheating on wife Gwyneth Paltrow after a story surfaced that he was canoodling with actress Kate Bosworth. Star magazine reported that the Coldplay lead singer was spotted making out with Bosworth, but a source close to the couple backs Chris, adding that while the couple has issues, Kate Bosworth is not one of them.

"Chris did not hook up with Kate in public or private," the insider told Fox411. "Chris has enough to deal with his work, his children and Gwyneth. He is not adding an affair with another A-lister to his list of things to do."

The source says Paltrow is also brushing off the story as best she can. "Chris pretty much laughed off the accusations and even Gwyneth was fairly unaffected," says the source. "She trusts Chris would not cheat on her in such a blatant, public manner."

The source says Gwyneth and Chris have enough problems without adding this to the mix. "Gwyneth and Chris are always on a different page, but he is not stupid," says the pal. "Chris wishes that Gwyneth would loosen up and be a little less uptight about everything, but he would never hurt his family this way. He actually loves to mock Gwyneth and all her projects. That's a bigger problem for them than the rumors."

The source says Chris likes to tease her to the point that now he's doing it in front of other people, even when he's visiting her on a movie set. "People pick up on it and some play along with him because he's just so cool. Guys that work for Gwyneth always want to be buds with Chris and it crosses a line for her when he gets them to start goading her, too," says the insider. "It's one of those couple problems."

And apparently Paltrow has had just about enough of it! "Gwyneth has recently pulled him aside and told her to stop mocking her around others, fairly pointing out that random people are 'not our friends'." The one thing the couple does agree on is their children, Apple, 5, and Moses, 3. "Gwyneth is a protective and loving mother and that is something that Chris absolutely cherishes about their relationship. He likes to tease, but in the end, he cares about her very much."

How funny that Pectoralz came up as a question on Cash Cab! Ha! Pectoralz was an alter ego boy band project that Coldplay used to have some fun with when they first started. It wasn't serious and they didn't perform any gigs under that name nor was it ever a consideration to be Pectoralz over Coldplay!

Q. Hey Oracle: You recently answered a question about demo's... What I want to know: if say you're in a band- should you look to play a few gigs before signing to a label? And should one immediately send your demo's to a BIG company like Parlophone, or try a smaller company first? Also,I saw that the "Howling Bells" (Aussie band) got signed to a UK company and had to relocate to the UK... Would one necessarily have to move if one got signed to such a company??? Thank you for your help!!!

The Oracle replies:

Following on from yesterday I would always advise artists to play live as much as possible as not only can you improve performing skills but build a potential fan base. I actually think artists these days should be as pro-active as possible.

I don't think one should necessarily opt for a big or independent label; it may be that you have interest from someone who may turn out to be 'right'. I think it's more important to select the most appropriate label for your band and see if it leads anywhere. Very very few bands get signed per year so it's a tough break to get. Relocation makes sense with regard to an Australian band given the time difference and distance; I would personally advise it though as I can't see how it could work otherwise.

Blood tests are sometimes very necessary and so it's best to find the most comfortable way of having them for you. My advice is that you ask to lie down whilst they take blood. Maybe you can listen to some music and have a portable music player with you? It's important to distract yourself so think happy thoughts. Try not to focus on what is happening and don't look. Needles aren't pleasant but they are finer than they used to be and so after the initial sting you shouldn't really feel the actual needle.

Q. Hey-lo Oracle person, If I cover a Coldplay song and it is slightly successful, would I have to pay royalties on said song? How would I go about that? Or does Coldplay not even care?

Gosh, I admire your self-belief and confidence and maybe it's a good thing to consider such things but you may be a little ahead of yourself here Ben. Anyone can do a straight cover of another's song; it's when you sample sections of a song it becomes a more complicated legal issue. There are mechanical licenses available for such purposes too but I would strongly suggest you get legal representation (assuming you haven't got a manager/label etc.) if you intend to release a cover. The fact that you did not write the song means that you would not get any money from the publishing income generated. Coldplay are signed to a publishing company who would collect those royalties. There is a long process to go through before then though. For instance you'd have to record it, get some kind of release, receive some kind of promotion/radio play and then sell it and hope people buy it...

Q. Who do I send my demo to?? I don't know who to pick??

It's a crucial decision and you're wise to give it a lot of thought. Don't send it to a label who may already have an artist similar in style to you. That said; don't send to it to a specialist label if you do not fit into their genre. If there's a company with many of your favourite artists on the roster that you think you would fit well with, give them a try but take the time to find out a contact name and they may return that time and effort by listening to it. Don't just send it because you happen to have recorded an album's worth of songs. Only send it if you genuinely think it's ready and brilliant. If you're not totally happy with it, why would they be? This is a huge step so don't waste it. Bear in mind you may not hear back from anyone so after a couple of weeks, give them a call to see if they have received it and if/when you can expect it to be listened to.

As previously reported here on Coldplaying a few days ago, the news that Ocesa, the production company that have been tasked with managing coldplay's Mexican tour, have announced that a second Mexican date has been confirmed by Coldplay's official site. Good afternoon. We're pleased to confirm that Coldplay will be playing a second show in Mexico City on Sunday, March 7 at Foro Sol (the night after the previously-announced show). According to Ocesa's website last week and also via Twitter, they too confirmed that the second concert would be on the 7th March with tickets on sale on November 4th/5th. [thanks Pris]

However, they've changed it to ticketexpress.com.co and tickets are still available online from worldwide locations. Paris Hilton must've had a day off yesterday. The celebrity gossip world instead were running a story on Chris Martin allegedly seen publicly making out with Kate Bosworth at a U2 concert - US mag Star is publishing this story even though there’s no physical proof that this happened.

But Chris Martin’s rep was quick to shoot down the silly rumors, saying, "This story is entirely untrue." Another source says on the contrary, Chris and Gwyneth are "more than fine. She may have been in the same room with him," they continue, "but he is not having an affair, was not kissing her or holding her hand."

Star Magazine ran the story (which is no longer available on their website!), claiming the pair were allegedly spotted kissing in the full glare of the public eye at U2’s Vegas concert two weeks ago. "I couldn't believe my eyes," an eyewitness told the mag. "There was Chris totally making out with Kate in front of other people. At first I thought it might be Gwyneth, but when she came up for air, it was clear the woman was Kate!"

Several Hollywood gossip sites are backing up the story meanwhile, including respected goss site, laineygossip.com. Laineygossip.com reports: “Ordinarily, considering it’s Star, the immediate reaction is to dismiss. But here’s why this report might be different. Because several magazines were investigating it a few days ago. I received calls about it on Saturday from other magazines… Chris and Kate were supposedly kissing in the open… Which means that there was more than one witness. And each witness went to a tabloid. And each tabloid was scrambling to source it. And Star beat everyone else to the punch.”

But while Chris and Gwyneth have spent much of 2009 apart due to their conflicting work schedules, reps for the pair say the Bosworth rumours are false.

Gwyneth's rep, Stephen Huvane issued a statement saying: "It is complete rubbish and another fabrication. Lawyers for both Chris and Kate are currently considering legal remedies against Star."

The rights in the photographs, artwork, videos and any other images ("Image") submitted to the Coldplay.com Exhibition Room will remain the property of the person who uploaded the Image, but by uploading the Image the person doing so warrants that they are the owner of all rights in the Image and that they irrevocably grant to Coldplay the right to publish the Image on its official website, Coldplay.com, without further approval from or payment to any person or entity. The person uploading the Image also warrants that they are the sole owner of the Images and that the Images do not nor will they infringe any law or third party right. Coldplay has no obligation to maintain any Image uploaded on Coldplay.com and has the right at any time to remove any Image for any reason.

Speaking of Coldplayers... here's a reminder of who some of them were at Wembley... (would make an excellent internationally-intellectual collection on the wall of the exhibition don't you think?)
