This money has gone to aid Zali Djiré and his friends. Because of your donations, Zali and his community in Gouaran (a small town in southeast Mali) have received early childhood development, health care and primary education. Coldplay Chronology: The Complete Guide

On May 1, 2007, Coldplay.com was temporarily shut down. When the site was accessed, a note appeared atop an image of the previous site, reading: We are building a new site. It will be here VERY soon. Love, Coldplay.

On June 18, 2007, the site was relaunched with a new design that resembles a journal timeline with hand written excerpts, pictures, and videos. Based around a timeline of the band’s history, the site is designed to keep you entertained until they return with their next album. Their message read:

All four members of Coldplay have been heavily involved in the re-design of the site. Their hand-written accounts will accompany each of the entries on the constantly-expanding timeline, for which the band have opened up their extensive archive of flyers, pictures, videos and audio recordings.

Coldplaying.com has landed in at 11th place overall in the People's Choice Award for Best Unofficial Music Site at the recent DMA Digital Music Awards in London.

[CCC Project] The $1.36 Campaign Latest | Raffle Winner Announced

The $1.36 campaign aims to testify that small actions can lead to big differences. All funds raised through this campaign will go to the Sponsor A Child program through which we will be in direct communication with an impoverished child who needs our help. Each month a minimum of $28.00 USD (click here for a currency converter) will need to be raised to support Zali, as well as Zali's community. We believe we can achieve and surpass this goal.

Money will go to "programs that focus on early childhood development, health and nutrition, as well as primary education. You can feel confident that Save the Children will spend your contributions wisely. In fiscal year 2005, Save the Children spent 91 percent of all expenditures on program services (source: savethechildren.com)."

A major part of the upgrading work that has been carried out over the last few weeks was to enable us to create the first independent Coldplay site powered by Wiki. WikiColdplay uses the Coldplaying vBulletin messageboard as a base and has integrated into the pages. All you need to do to add/edit/remove content from ColdplayWiki is simply log into your messageboard account as normal, or post as a guest (limited permissions).
