<strong>The official Invictus Games Anthem has been released. The London based paralympic sports event, for wounded soldiers worldwide, launched today for a four day period of sporting events in the UK's capital. Chris Martin was keen to help out his royal pal, Prince Harry, who founded the Invictus games and helped pen the track for the games.</strong> </p><p> </p><p>
There were articles about the Invictus anthem building up from months before the event. They made we us believe Chris was writing the track but the lyrics are infact a poem written by William Ernest Henley. (thanks <strong>Greengoose</strong>) </p><p> </p><p>

BY WILLIAM ERNEST HENLEY</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
Out of the night that covers me,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
Black as the pit from pole to pole,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
I thank whatever gods may be</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
      For my unconquerable soul.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
In the fell clutch of circumstance</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
I have not winced nor cried aloud.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
Under the bludgeonings of chance</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
      My head is bloody, but unbowed.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
Beyond this place of wrath and tears</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
Looms but the Horror of the shade,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
And yet the menace of the years</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
      Finds and shall find me unafraid.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
It matters not how strait the gate,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
How charged with punishments the scroll,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
I am the master of my fate,</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
I am the captain of my soul.</div><p></p><p> </p><p>
Short and sweet : Chris simply helped write the score to the background music. The anthem can heard in its fully glory below.</p><p> </p><p>
