Not seeing Radiohead after all. But I'll see Best Coast this summer if it's not a 19+ gig.

I like Burial but don't love them or find them particularly special. I guess I just don't "get" good music :'(

Not airplay (at least not that I know of), but I saw them open for Tokyo Police Club about two years ago and I've been a fan ever since. I'm currently quite into them because I recently saw them live again, this time as a headliner.

I want to go to the Toronto date but I don't know if I'll actually end up doing it because it's $81, which I could normally accept begrudgingly, but the concert is literally being held on a giant field which is really not an ideal concert setting.

If Bon Iver and Kanye did an entire collab album, I might have to cry with joy. But idk if I could ever see that actually happening. Anyways, I'm really hoping they add more US tour dates, because I still haven't gotten to see them, and I don't want to wait 2+ years for a chance to ;_____;

I kind of agree actually. At the very least, what is so much worse about this than about the video for in My Place, or Clocks, or Speed Of Sound, which is pretty much just an artsy version of the band pretending to play instruments? At least this video sort of had a plot. Anyways, I think some people take music videos far too seriously. So what if it's just a bunch of flashing lights and dancing? As long as the editing is done well it's a good video. It's not a movie.

I'm glad that 5 of my albums made the top 10! But uh....it's kind of awful that TKOL is #2, in my opinion. There wasn't anything special about it at all. Y'all are crazy........

The reason they are participating in the blackout is not because they are paranoid, as someone like you likely is, but because they are trying to get the message out that these types of things are and have been up for consideration, and could be again in the future, where they could pass under different leadership or if they are just changed around a little. I never once implied otherwise, but of course you just had to add your little dramatic spin to what I said. Coldplaying would not go offline very quickly at all, if ever. I don't know specifically what the band does and dosen't play live, but it should in no way disappoint you that they cannot always play every instrument or every aspect of each song live on their own. Their music has slowly grown in complexity and it's simply not possible for them to be handling that many controls at once. It doesn't make them any less talented.

But, you guys discuss the oracle answers all of the time, why is it suddenly clutter now? A second thread for discussion would just make things more confusing. Anyways, if it's really ONLY for posting of the actual questions, what's the point? Just check Coldplay's website then, if all you want to see is the questions and answers.
