  1. Hahaha I'm glad you liked An Awesome Wave! I can see Alt-J becoming huge in the future :D And I'm glad you have started listening to Stereophonics too, what are your favourite songs by them? I should try getting ill more often so I can discover more new music :laugh3: I've never heard of Broken Bells :surprised: what are they like?

  2. Hmmm, An Awesome Wave is quite hard to describe... it's quite experimental and original, some people have even called Alt-J 'the next Radiohead' but I'm not so sure about that. You should check them out I think. Their song Tessellate is quite good. :D And it turned out the anonymous source was my mum. Not so interesting after all :blank:

  3. Ooooh sorry to hear you have the flu :( I didn't actually do anything for new year, but we had a big family gathering on the 30th when the whole of my mother's side of the family (including people's boyfriends and girlfriends and pets) got together at my grandparents house. It was a pretty momentous occasion as I'm not sure when was the last time that happened! We had a fantastic time and I met some cool new people  Sadly my uncle who had come all the way from Argentina had the flu so he had to spend the whole time in bed :( How was your new year's then? I've actually spent a bit of my Christmas cash already so I don't know if I'll have enough to buy any tickets... but I was planning to buy Stereophonics tickets. Their new album is coming out in March and I can't wait :awesome:

  5. HEY WHERE ARE YOU http://www.boardgame-online.com/g/game.php?g=ccBj&k=nf1

  6. Are you ready to start the game night: http://www.boardgame-online.com/g/game.php?g=ccBj&k=nf1 ?

  7. Not really... I haven't tried to write anything since I left school

  8. Well my favourite bands are Radiohead, Muse and Blur. And I like Coldplay obviously.

  9. I didn't get anything too exciting - my main present was my Muse tickets from my Mum :D I got a decent amount of cash though (£65 which is about $100 I think) which I think I will try and spend on more concert tickets. I also got some clothes and some chocolate from various family members... and a student cookbook from my mum: I think she's hinting that she wants me to cook more! I also mysteriously received Alt-J's album 'An Awesome Wave' from an anonymous source. :wtf: Have you heard of this album? That's all my 'official' presents, but I also got Muse's Christmas present (did you get that?) and some kind person uploaded Radiohead's entire Bonnaroo 2006 concert in perfect audio quality :awesome:

  10. Merry Christmas to you too :D Sorry it's late, I was away for Christmas. Did you get any awesome presents?

  11. Yeah, pretty much! Although she's said she won't be making any more until after Christmas :(

  12. I wonder how many kitty avatars there are now? We seem to be taking over the board! You should totally ask Thalia to make you one :cheesy:

  13. Well, my eyes aren't exactly like that

  14. Woooo! That's one badass looking cat! :wacky: And it has blue eyes just like me! :o

  15. I don't really know, seeing as I've not been to many concerts :P

  16. Oooh, yes I like Analyse as well! And The Eraser and And It Rained All Night are great too :nice: I haven't heard that song, no :surprised:

  17. I'm cool, thanks :) I found out that Atoms For Peace, Thom's other band, are releasing their first album soon so I thought I'd better check out The Eraser first to get an idea of what it will be like. I'm glad I did! I've only listened to it twice but I already like it more than I thought I would. I think my favourite at the moment is Black Swan :awesome:

  18. Hello! I know you're a massive Radiohead fan, and I was wondering if you've listened to Thom Yorke's album The Eraser. I've just discovered it and I think it's great!

  19. No I have no idea sorry :(

  20. Yes it is! :) It's a long wait, but I'm sure it will be worth it!

  21. Yes, everything worked out fine :D The pre-sale was much simpler than I expected, and my mum managed to pay for them OK (even though she can barely use a computer ). I still don't know exactly what we're going to do for transport afterwards, but I still have plenty of time to figure that part out :)

  22. I'm going to see Muse!!!! :awesome: When are you seeing them?

  23. It all depends on what time the concert finishes. If it's before 10:30 it's fine, I can catch the train. But if it's after that there are no trains, so my only options are to find somewhere to stay or find some other way back from Manchester... it's so bloody annoying as it's not even that far away. I don't even know when it's supposed to finish, I have asked on .mu but had no answer. Do you have any idea?
