  1. Ahhhh, the tickets go on sale tomorrow (for muse.mu members) and my mum is willing to buy them for me, but I have no way to get back from Manchester after the concert :( There's some sort of coach service but as usual the ticket website is completely unhelpful!

  2. Muse just announced UK stadium shows next year! :awesome: I'm going to try and see them in Manchester on June 1st! I'll only be able to go to one concert probably, because of money and also because I have exams around that time :\ But I don't care! :D

  3. Ah, in our country only some universities have their own exams that you have to pass to get into the course. I'm applying to 4 different universities, but only one of them requires me to pass an exam.

  4. I'm really looking forward to going to university, but I'm also worried that my grades won't be good enough. I'm doing really well in maths, and I wrote a great personal statement so I'm relying on that being enough to get me in to the universities of my choice.

  5. Woah, good luck! I have my final exams next year in May/June, but I also have ones coming up in January which I'm currently studying for. What do you plan to do after you finish school? I'm hopefully going to go to university to study maths.

  6. It's going well thanks! :) How about you?

  7. Romania eh? That sounds interesting. It's not a place I know much about, to be honest. I hope you have a good time there! No, Muse have so far only announced Japan and North America tour dates for 2013 as far as I'm aware. I'll be inheriting a large sum of money next year too, so I should easily be able to afford tickets! (unless my parents decide it's all going to my university fees :snobby:) I've never been to a proper music festival before. :( There's a relatively small one in my town which I go to every year but it's nothing like any of the big ones. Would you really make a thread for me? :surprised: I'd be flattered! :laugh3:

  8. Have you heard Animals? It's probably the best song on that album by a mile. Panic Station and Supremacy are also great. The rest of the album is decent in my opinion, though I find Madness to be a bit meh. Everyone seems to hate Big Freeze and Explorers, but I don't mind them. Overall I'd say it's better than The Resistance (by a lot) but not nearly as good as Origin or Absolution. I'm hoping Blur will do more UK shows next year so I can see them again, but I don't mind if they just go to countries they haven't visited in a while. I'm also currently waiting for either Muse or Stereophonics to announce 2013 UK dates which I can hopefully go to. Reading festival's also a thing I'd like to do next year, if the headliners are any good. Oooh, I don't know if I should go for that... :uhoh: I don't think I've really done anything to deserve such a prestigious award!

  9. Aww, you should listen to it. I'm sure there'd be at least one song you'd like. It seems Blur are touring again next year, have you heard that? I don't know if they're going to America though. Oh and vote for me for some awards or something.

  10. I never really thought much of Falling Down before, it was one of those songs that didn't really stand out much to me on Showbiz. However, the new piano version of it is brilliant! Even though I'd rather have something like Space Dementia or Apocalypse Please, I like that they've done something unexpected like that. And it's definitely better than playing Feeling Good for the millionth time! :laugh3: Have you heard that they've also played Ruled by Secrecy and Sunburn on this tour? :awesome: Plus the new songs sound awesome live apparently. It's only been a few weeks and already it's looking better than the Resistance tour! I'm so hoping that I will be able to see them next year, hopefully they will announce stadiums soon!

  11. No, I didn't really do anything for Halloween. My Halloween is just the same as any other day for me... and we usually don't get any trick-or-treaters because we live at the end of a cul-de-sac. I was watching the Muse Radio 2 concert livestream and I was confused when Dom was wearing a skeleton costume because I hadn't even realised it was Halloween! :laugh3: So, what did you get up to?

  12. Oh, is there an artist called that? :surprised: I put that as my title because it's the name of a Radiohead song!

  13. Who comes where? Who are we talking about? :laugh3: I'm sorry :embarrassed:

  14. A concert? What concert? :cheesy:

  15. I agree about In Rainbows. For some reason for ages I was almost scared to listen to it because I thought I wouldn't get it or it would be too 'deep' for me :laugh3: But when I listened to it I immediately liked it. I like how it goes back to a more organic sound than the previous three albums (i.e. less electronic stuff) but still sounds completely different than OK or The Bends. I don't really like We Suck Young Blood :\ To me it sounds like a weaker version of You And Whose Army? (which I love!) and it doesn't really go anywhere IMO.

  16. Hmmm, I'm not sure exactly how the secret santa works, but you have to submit your name and adress, and then they pair you up with someone far away. You then have to send a christmas card (or a present, I'm not sure exactly) to the person they matched you up with. I think you have to be secret about it though, like you can't tell anyone who you have been paired up with. I'm sure you can get a much better explanation from the actual thread though :laugh3: Yeah I really like Hail to the Thief! My favourite songs are There There, A Punchup at a Wedding, Myxomatosis and Backdrifts. I've also just sort of discovered In Rainbows too, what do you think of that album?

  17. Have you entered the Secret Santa? It sounds like fun!

  18. Sorry if this took ages to get to you - my internet is being awful :( I don't know a lot about tickets I'm afraid, have asked anyone on muse.mu? I'm sure someone there will be able to help you with your problem. Also, I have to tell you that I've just started really getting into Hail to the Thief. It's an album that I've previously overlooked but now that I've given it a proper listen I think it's awesome :D

  19. I hate Creep :laugh3: It's one of the few of their songs I actually don't like (I haven't listened to all of them though) You should listen to Just, Let Down, Paranoid Android, There There, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, I Might Be Wrong, Pyramid Song... (I could go on for ages, but those are all songs that are better than Creep in my opinion :P) I also listen to Coldplay (obviously) Muse, Blur, Stereophonics, U2 and a few others.

  20. Right now I'm listening to Radiohead. Do you like Radiohead at all?

  21. I'm from England. Not particularly interesting but it works for me!

  22. I love maths  I'm fine thank you. Where are you from?

  23. Maths homework :P
