The stream quality is excellent if it weren't stuttering all the time. Has anyone that is recording it had a solid stream?

Atlas would probably only beat True Love for me because the first two minutes of Atlas are so dull. Instant skipper when it comes on shuffle.

My understanding:

O is 7 minutes on the standard edition because of the two minute gap. The part after Fly On is a hidden track.

But on the DELUXE edition, the 2 minute gap wouldn't make sense because there are still tracks after O. So they cut the silence out.

It's as if the persona he was singing as in DAAHF has completely changed. In DAAHF it was all: "I don't want to battle from beginning to end..." In All Your Friends, he's seems to be all for wading into battle and singing: "Open fire" in the outro. Weird right? O.o

I like that thought. And O (Reprise) kind of makes me think of a silent battlefield strewn with bodies. "Don't ever let go."

(And of course the equivalent traditional record shops internationally. Don't know any names of those.)

Would it have killed them to do a HMV deluxe edition? Insane decision to limit it to one country

I'm guessing it's because there are the extra tracks following it. You can't really do a hidden (ghost) track in the middle of an album with a time delay.

I would suppose that the standard edition will have the silence.

Ghost Story especially is much better than some of the album tracks. Sadly it's too different sonically to really fit in. But I'd love the next record to sound like this. It's like a mix of Parachutes and Prospekts March

What does "Viva la vida" translate to in English?

That two minute gap between O and the ending instrumental is atrocious, (i listened to the tracks through itunes radio (big mistake, with the ads, and stops for the announcer telling you're listening to coldplay - so annoying, so glad they released an animation video with none of the ads, and the stupid 2 minute gap - why do that?

 

IT breaks the continuity of the ending of the album - I know they tried to make it 42 minutes long, but really... to sacrifice the flow of the album? I'll have to cut that down when i get the tracks individually - whoever of the 4 or if Phil ok'd that, messed up big time. Rant over... for now.

That's how hidden tracks work. It's daft, but not a new thing. On their 2nd EP The 1975 had a ~15 minute gap!
