Bring Me The Horizon Lead Singer Destroys Coldplay's Table at NME Awards

After Bring Me The Horizon won the NME Innovation Award at the NME Awards 2016, frontman Oli Sykes hopped onto Coldplay's table destroying their wine glasses and breaking the table!

During their performance of "Happy Song", Oli Sykes ventured his way into the audience and climbed on the table of Godlike Genius Award winners Coldplay.

After the event, fans took to Twitter and our forums to bash the lead singer for disrespectfully destroying Coldplay's table. Some are speculating that this was BMTH's revenge on Coldplay for "stealing" their album cover! However it looks like Coldplay got the last laugh!

Coldplay-vs-Bring-Me-The-Horizon

Speaking to NME.com after the incident, Coldplay's Chris Martin said he had never heard of Bring Me The Horizon before but that "It was great, very rock n roll." During Coldplay's acceptance speech, Chris Martin said "We first came here when we were kids and we sat where Bring Me The Horizon were sitting next to the big bands".

Take a look at the exact moment when the table collapsed which NME camera's did not capture above!
