Coldplay Spotted Filming Music Video for Next Single 'Up&Up'

Coldplay have a trio of shows in Mexico to close out their first series of concert dates. While there, the band figured 'why not shoot a music video for our new single?'. Coldplay have been spotted filming what appears to be a music video for their next single 'Up&Up'. It also appears that Marcus Haney will be sitting in the directors chair this time around. If the name sounds familiar, it should. Marcus also recently directed the MV for Coldplay's 'Birds' Video. Similar to the Birds video, it seems that Marcus will be shooting the music video using his trusty Super 8mm camera! You can check out our interview with Marcus here!

In a series of posts by Mexican Coldplay fans, the band our seen zipping around the streets of Mexico on bikes. Looks like Chris has ditched the unicycle for the video this time around!

Along with this footage, Marcus was also seen filming during some of the Mexican gigs. We expect to see this in the final MV as well, so hopefully we get to see some lucky Coldplayers immortalised in the video!

The band also released Up&Up as a single a few days ago on iTunes and all major streaming services. The single contains a radio edit of the song which has a length of 3:58 compared to 6:45 on the album version!

No word as to when the MV will be released, but keep up to date with this thread and all our social media outlets for the latest on this developing news!
