Coldplay will NOT be headlining Glastonbury in 2015.
In an interview with e-festivals, Emily Eavis, the daughter of Michael Eavis, the festival's founder confirmed that the rumours were wrong:
It's not Coldplay, this is the first year that most of the rumours are wrong," she said. "Normally, there's someone in there who's right, this has been our best year for secrets. Once we got Foo's out the way, the rest are secret, it's great that it's like that, isn't it?
This suggests that the main recording phase of Coldplay's next album, A Head Full Of Dreams is still in progress, as lead guitarist, Jonny Buckland suggested in December that their appearance in Glastonbury this year would depend on their studio progress.
