Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow family photos returned by train station manager

chrisgwyneth.jpgA station manager turned sleuth to return family photos of Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow which had been left on a train by Chris's dad, according to the Mirror this morning. You can discuss this story at the Coldplay forum here onwards [thanks SueDeNimes]

Honest Matt Fearn found the snaps, worth a fortune to a magazine, in a jacket handed in at Plymouth station. Matt guessed they were private photos and realised the jacket must have been left on the train by a member of Chris's family travelling to Exeter.

He knew the Coldplay frontman was from the city and traced his father Anthony to his nearby home rather than following procedure and sending the jacket to a lost property store. The retired businessman said: "I'd like to thank him very much for tracing me."
