Coldplay do Hispanic - A Rush Of Paella To The Head?

Can you picture Chris Martin in a flamenco dress, shaking his maracas whilst blaring out ‘Yellow.’ No? Well you had better get used to it, report Gigwise Blog.

Today Coldplay have gone “Hispanic” on us. Yeah that’s right. As you’ll have seen in the news they’ve gone to Barcelona to record the follow-up to 2005’s mighty X&Y and are currently recording “at the feet of archangels.” We’re not sure whether they were just lacking creativity in their London studio or they just fancied escaping the flooded British Isles to find a bit of sun but it sure is an intriguing prospect.

What on earth will the album sound like? Will a collaboration with Enrique Iglesias or even Penelope Cruz, or both, be on the cards? The album and song tiles have got me puzzled though. My current favourite is ‘A Rush Of Paella To The Head?

What do you think a Hispanic Coldplay album will sound like? We hope somthing like this...
