If the members of Coldplay really were sick of themselves, they certainly got better fast.

 

While rumors circulated that the band would break up after Chris Martin told the crowd at last week's BRIT Awards that "it's going to be a few years before you see us again," Coldplay has apparently decided to hang around for a bit.

 

The band told NME.com that they have an entire album's worth of new material and are making plans to enter the studio to begin recording.
