Gwyneth Paltrow And Chris Martin Split Reports Angrily Denied

gwynethchris.jpgReports that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are set to split have been angrily denied.

The married couple have not been seen together in public for several months, sparking rumours they were living separate lives. Actress Paltrow has been filming a cooking show with celebrity chef Mario Batali in Spain, while rocker Martin is said to have been working on his band, Coldplay’s latest album.

But pals insist their four-year marriage is fine. And a spokesman for Paltrow said she and her husband deliberately avoided being snapped together. Spokesman Stephen Huvane said: “[These rumours are] absolutely not true. They have been completely together and barely separated. Chris was with her in Los Angeles during the shooting of ‘Iron Man,’ and then with her in the Hamptons during the summer, and in London for September and October. She’s been in New York for the past week, but he is joining him soon in a few days.”

He told a US newspaper: “This stems from the fact that both Chris and Gwyneth make a deliberate effort not to be photographed together. She does not take him to any events where there will be press - or if she does, they enter separately. It is their policy not to put their relationship out there for public consumption.”

Paltrow, 35, and Martin, 30, wed in December 2003. They have two children together, three-year-old daughter Apple, and son Moses, 19 months. Paltrow is currently filming movie drama Two Lovers in New York with Joaquin Phoenix.
