Paltrow Slaps Gag On House-Hunters

chrisgwyneth1.jpgGwyneth Paltrow has gone to great lengths to ensure prospective buyers of her New York townhouse don’t blab to the press, it was reported today.

Interested buyers must sign a confidentiality agreement before setting foot in the property, stating they will not take pictures or talk to the media. But the move did not put off Jude Law and Sienna Miller who have already had a look around the luxurious home, according to Life & Style Weekly.

The four storey townhouse in Manhattan’s trendy Greenwich Village went on the market for £4.1 million (7.85m dollars) last month. The move sparked rumours that the Hollywood starlet had chosen to remain rooted in west London with her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, despite rumours of a rift.

The house features four bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, two planted gardens and several wood-burning fireplaces. It includes a state-of-the-art security system, surveillance cameras and batter-proof doors that were reportedly installed by the safety-conscious actress.

Paltrow, 32, and Martin have spent most of their time in London since daughter Apple was born nine months ago.
