The Pet Shop Boys have revealed they loved writing a single for Girls Aloud — because it meant they got one over on Coldplay. The veteran duo wrote the Girls’ last single The Loving Kind and they reckon it gives them bragging rights over Chris Martin and co., the News Of The World reported yesterday.
Singer Neil Tennant told Rated: “Chris Martin [pictured] goes on and on about how much he loves Girls Aloud, but that he’s not good enough to write a song for them. Well, we HAVE written a song for them. So it’s 1 - 0 to the Pets, thank you!”
