Viva La Knee-da: Chris Injured In Rehearsals

chrismartin2008a.jpgChris Martin is battling to be fit in time for Coldplay’s comeback shows – after injuring himself in rehearsals.

 

The frontman has been left hobbling after twisting his knee awkwardly during practice sessions for the quartet’s eagerly-awaited Monday night gig in London. Coldplay will introduce album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends – which is released worldwide from today – at a concert at Brixton Academy and have been deep in preparations for weeks.

 

A source said: “Chris has been in absolute agony with his knee. He’s had to strap it and has been hobbling around the place. He doesn’t want to cancel the show so is going to fight through the pain barrier.”
