Vote Chris Martin For the ‘World’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity’ (Again)

Fads come and go among red-carpet regulars, but there’s one trend that won’t fade away any time soon: vegetarianism! More and more stars are taking on a new role as models for a compassionate, healthy and Earth-friendly lifestyle.

We couldn’t possibly pick our favourite hottie with a heart – they’re all winners to us – so we need your help to crown the king and queen of PETA’s seventh annual “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity” contest.

The nearly 200 sizzling celebs who are vying for this year’s title include soulful songstress Joss Stone, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, The Devil Wears Prada beauty Anne Hathaway, fur-free fashion designer Sadie Frost, King Kong leading lady Naomi Watts, Walk the Line’s dashing Joaquin Phoenix, Good Charlotte hottie Benji Madden and suave TV actor Martin Shaw.

These stars’ reasons for keeping animals off their plates – from avoiding the hideous cruelty to animals in factory farms and abattoirs to improving their own health and helping the environment – are as diverse and inspiring as their talents. Previous winners include Russell Brand, Andre 3000, Tobey Maguire, Chris Martin, Prince, Alicia Silverstone, Natalie Portman and Shania Twain.

Cast your vote here today for the “World’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity,” and stay tuned for the international and European winners!
