    Golden Globes: Coldplay's 'Atlas' nominated for Best Original Song

    Coldplay, Taylor Swift and U2 are among the names shortlisted for the Best Original Song prize at the Golden Globes 2014. More on this is at the Coldplay forum now [thanks Tash] The five nominees were announced yesterday (12th December) with Justin Timberlake, U2 and Idina Menzel also included. Coldplay's 'Atlas' for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will go up against Taylor Swifts's song 'Sweeter Than Fiction', recorded for the soundtrack to the Paul Potts biopic One Chance', and U2's 'Ordinary Love,' from 'Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.' Justin Timberlake shares his nomination with Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver for their contribution to the movie Inside Llewyn Davis on the song 'Please Mr. Kennedy.The winner of this category will be announced at the ceremony in Los Angeles on January 12th. The Golden Globes are determined by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of journalists who write for publications outside the United States.
