Apple Prefers Classical To Coldplay

Gwyneth Paltrow prefers playing Mozart to baby Apple than husband Chris Martin's Coldplay tracks. The Sun says plays classical tunes to help the five-week old sleep. Coldplay songs are allowed - but only occasionally, and with the volume turned down.

A friend says: "Gwyneth wants Apple to appreciate classical music. Mozart is on most of the time - with a teeny bit of Coldplay, but only softly."

The star has reportedly even taken to putting a DVD of her film Shakespeare in Love on when she goes out, so Apple can be comforted by her mother's voice. It certainly sounds like Gwyn hasn't lost her sense of humour, accepting an award on her late father's behalf earlier this week, she told the crowd: "I feel so honoured that you have honoured our family – sorry, repetition of the word honoured. Sorry, I've just had a baby. My brain cells are coming out of my breast milk."
