Coldplay were joined onstage by Ash star Tim Wheeler on the last date of their North American tour at the Chicago UIC Pavillion.

 

The bands who have been touring together have been inseparable throughout and even formed a supergroup at the Echo Lounge in Atlanta during a tour break, playing cover versions until the early hours.

 

Ash singer Tim Wheeler appeared onstage for Coldplay's new forthcoming single 'The Scientist', playing guitar and singing backing vocals.
