It is one of the more interesting musical meetings we've heard of this year.

 

We can reveal that Coldplay's Chris Martin is set to join Lily Allen on stage for a charity gig on Monday.

 

James Morrison and The Automatic are also in the bill for the week-long Mencap's Little Noise sessions at the Union Chapel in Islington, London. Our mole says: "Chris was the surprise guest this Wednesday but pulled out because he was ill. He can't wait to meet Lily as he is a massive fan. Hope she's gentle with him!"
