Coldplay frontman Chris Martin's life is the best its ever been thanks to his flourishing career, new wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their baby daughter Apple.
The Clocks hitmaker is having the time of his life as he works on the band's new album and credits his tiny daughter with making all his dreams come true.
Martin gushes: "Everything's great. I've just been writing lyrics and doing baby things. It's great man, it's the best thing that's ever happened. If someone told me my life at the moment would be changing nappies and writing lyrics I would've taken it, Y'know? It's my dream come true."
But, although he admits Apple is proving to be an inspiration in songwriting terms, Martin insists the new record won't be awash with baby talk. He laughs: "Once you know you're gonna have a baby that kicks in anyway, so its been happening for 10 months, but I mean I'm not singing about nappies or anything."
