Chris Martin: "New Fans Must Apologise To Old Fans"

Chris Martin insists all those new fans of the group who once bullied their old fans should find it in their hearts to apologise.

He is well aware that long-time fans of the rockers were picked on by other music fans because Coldplay weren't seen as being a real rock group, and now it's time their meek fans faced their former critics.

He says, "Our ambition is to have all those 15-year-old people, who got beaten up for liking us two years ago, is for them to have all the people that beat them up come over to them this year and say, 'We've just heard Coldplay's third album and you were right. We're sorry about that.'"
