Ahead of the BRIT nominations this evening (January 18), more rumours have begun circulating about this year’s special guest performers. While a few have already been confirmed, many now believe that Jay Z will perform ‘Empire State Of Mind’ with Alicia Keys. It’s also rumoured that the rapper will be joined by his Coldplay mate, Chris Martin, writes XFM today.
In other scurrilous gossip, Warner Brothers are supposedly fuming over the lack of nominations for Muse and American crooner Michael Buble. Matt Bellamy and co are reportedly in the running for only one award. Digital Spy reports that their record company apparently threatened to boycott the booze-laden, back-slapping, narc-fest. They didn’t in the end. Wonder why?
Warners aren’t the only people fuming as Susan Boyle is also said to have been snubbed by tonight’s nominations. Don’t worry Su Bo, because Hot Chip love you. The London dance mob have written ‘Keep Quiet’ in honour of the reality TV star. The track will feature on their forthcoming album, ‘One Life Stand’.
