The Arctic Monkeys were given the cold shoulder when they tried to blag their way into Another Music = Another Kitchen at Camden's At Proud bar on Thursday, despite pleading with the bouncers: "Don't you know who we are?" But the club was already over capacity and the doormen refused to let the lads in. Our mole said: "They turned up at 11.30pm with another band, We Are Scientists. But there were too many people inside. They tried begging the doormen but they were having none of it."

 

Only last week, Jamie Cook was booted out of the Met Bar in front of Noel Gallagher, Kasabian and Paul Weller for not paying a £22 beer bill. And the latest humiliation came as Coldplay's Chris Martin was watching his brother Al perform with his band Milk Teeth. Keep trying, boys...
