Chris writes new song... this time as a woman

Coldplay's Chris Martin is so in touch with his feminine side he's written a song from a woman's perspective.

He has penned 'See It In A Boy's Eyes' for British R+B star Jamelia, and played piano and sang backing vocals on the track - and the singer is amazed at how much Chris understands women's inner-most thoughts.

She says, "His vocals on the track are really haunting. It's amazing that he could write lyrics from a woman's point of view and articulate feelings from a totally different perspective.

"I have always been a fan of Coldplay and am even more of a fan now."

2015 Edit

Here are the eventual lyrics, written by Chris Martin:"See It In A Boy's Eyes"When it rains, well it rainsOh my heart don't feel the sameNothing change, nothing changeComrade I don't feel the sameWith my foot to the floorHear my key turn in the doorHolding back what's in storeWhen a girl wants a little bit more[Chorus]What's a girl like me to doWhen she don't get a thing from youI wanna go where you're going toHave to do what you have to doWhat's a girl supposed to tryWhen all you do is criticisePretty soon you'll realiseI can see it, I can see it in a boy's eyessee it in a boy's, see it in a boy's eyes [x2]Well it rains, when it rainsOh my heart don't feel the sameThere's a sun in my skyYou don't see it, you don't even tryBut you'll die, before you crySolitude is where you flyYou don't say this ain't rightBut I see it in your eyesWhat's a girl like me to doWhen she don't get a thing from youI wanna go where you're going toHave to do what you have to doWhat's a girl supposed to tryWhen all you do is criticisePretty soon you'll realiseI can see it, I can see it in a boy's eyessee it in a boy's, see it in a boy's eyes What's a girl like me to doWhen she don't get a thing from youI wanna know where you're going toHave to do what you have to doWhat's a girl supposed to say Just turn around and walk awayPretty soon you'll realise I can see itI can see it in a boy's eyes see it in a boy's, see it in a boy's eyes [x4]
