Coldplay Album Buy One Get One Free offer On Internet Downloads

chrismartin2008a.jpgIt has been announced that Coldplay are giving fans the chance to own their new album for half the usual price by announcing a buy one get one free offer on Internet downloads.

So this means that whenever you download a track from their new album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends you will automatically get another song of your choice for free. Chris Martin has said that “Buy one get one free, it comes from working in Kwik Save (British budget supermarket), I think. As I said before nobody buys albums anymore, certainly nobody buys full albums and we’ve made an album that you have to have from start to finish.”

In other news Coldplay have just signed a deal with the American television network ESPN which means that their music will be used during the broadcaster’s coverage of Euro 2008 which kicks off in Austria next month. It’s said that ESPN will broadcast Coldplay’s songs in the US, Canada, Mexico, India and South America.

Coldplay’s fourth album ‘Viva La Vida’ is due for released on the 12th June.
