Oasis' iconic debut album, Definitely Maybe, has been voted the greatest album of all time in a survey by the book of British Hit Singles and Albums and NME.com, reports 999today.
The 1994 album, which featured popular songs like Rock 'N' Roll Star, personic and Live Forever, held off the challenge from Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band to claim the top spot.
Another Beatles album, Revolver, finished in third place. Other notable albums on the list included U2's The Joshua Tree (11th), Michael Jackson's Thriller (35th), Coldplay's Parachutes (52nd), Madonna's Ray of Light (83rd), Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run (84th) and The Eagles' Hotel California (100th).
Meanwhile, in another poll at 3VOOR12 reveals Coldplay were 25th with A Rush Of Blood To The Head [pictured], leaving X&Y without a poll result.
