Coldplay And The Killers To Play Joint War Child Gig In London

warchild.jpgColdplay and The Killers are to play a joint gig together to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the charity, War Child.

 

The concert will take place at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on February 18th following both band's attendance at the BRIT Awards. Tickets for the event cost £50 and will be available via a lottery system. Hopefuls will have five days from 9am on Friday (January 30th) in order to register for a chance to buy tickets. Registration will close on Tuesday February 3rd at 5pm. All successful applicants will be notified by Friday February 6th. See warchildheroes.com for details. All proceeds from the concert will go to War Child.

 

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said: "In our eyes, War Child is one of the world's most important charities, and The Killers are one of our favourite bands, so playing this concert is an absolute pleasure for us."
