MEXICO — The popular English band Coldplay was united to the campaign of the Mexican agriculturists who are against the American maize import, that is affecting its form of life.
“Mexico is a great country that has excellent tortillas”, Martin said to Chris, singer of the band, in a press official notice. “But I have spoken with the agriculturists of this country and know that they are passing difficult moments because of the imports of the United States”.
The Mexican agriculturists face the total basic product liberalization like the maize, frijol, milk and the sugar, when being fulfilled 14° anniversary of the Free Trade Agreement for North America (TLCAN or GASOLINE) between the United States, Mexico and Canada.
