Coldplay Confirmed To Headline Glastonbury 2005

glastonbury.jpgGlastonbury sources revealed this week that Coldplay will headline this year's festival, along with The White Stripes and Kylie on the Pyramid Stage.

 

It was confirmed to Virtual Festivals the acts that will be headlining the Pyramid Stage. As rumoured for weeks, The White Stripes will play Friday, Coldplay on Saturday, with Kylie finishing things off on Sunday.

 

Looking further ahead, Eric Clapton has been confirmed to play at the 2007 Glastonbury Festival, with the festival taking a year out in 2006.

 

Glastonbury 2005 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, from 24-26 June. Tickets go on sale at 9am, Sunday 3 April, priced at £125. More details on tickets will be posted to coldplaying.com as and when they are known.
